The things that worries me is that he stated that he trains only the match up he likes (ZvP), if he doesn't train his ZvT he will encounter a ton of problem I don't think Stephano is the kind of player that accepts loosing the kind of games he lost against Polt (he was ahead in 2 games that he lost) so I'm confident he will train his zvt in the future. The problem is to find practice partners on the level of a korean terran, I don't know if any non korean terran has the mechanics to play at this level ( Kas maybe?).

I don't know of any foreign Terran that has the same good mechanics and tank positioning as Polt.
And I'm still not fully convinced by Kas/Happy for example as they still have really hard times to perform well at LAN events. Korean Terrans are just so much better than the foreign one, I can name at least 15 terrans that are more consistent than Kas or Happy for example, whereas with Ret, Nerchio, and Stephano we have some of the best Zergs, and Nani and Huk are also some Code A-S materials for Protoss!
Regarding Assembly finals, I'm still not sure of what he could have done better in the game were he had a big advantage but couldn't take anything from it due to the patience and good positioning of Polt. It was really frustrating to watch though, even if Polt played brilliantly.

There is no fereign Terrans that would give you good enough practice to face top Korean terrans, Stephano would need to practice with a players who can go 50-50 win/loss vs him to get proper results, even if he would analyze his games vs Polt and his mistakes it still could not be reproduced in his current training environment. Thats why playing zvt in EU/NA gives you a false belief that everything is perfect, but then you face MVP/MMA/etc and its not working. Kas is maybe closest to being equivalent but imho its still not comparable.
Look at that this way, untill you have good enough practice partners that make you lose games vs them you will improve, why EU zvz is so strong ? Because Dimaga,Nerchio stephano each trade blows to each others and improve that way, in this case there is no big need of Korean Z practice partners because he has good enough opponents to improve. Maybe thats not perfect example, because ZvZ is more 1dimensional, but the principle holds.

If Stephano does not go to join a korean team or a foreign team with a base in korea this would be so much of a waste!
I´d love to see him joining EG or Liquid so he can practise with Slayers/OGs or whereever they are currently.

Maybe thorzain can be a good practice partner as he's got a "Polt like style" with smartness and good positionning, in my opinion he's as good as kas but in a different way, Kas is a macro/micro/mechanics beast but he might be the least succesfull terran in europe vs Stephano. I honnestly doesn't remember a game he won vs him and, and i doesn't even remember the last time Stephano won without using lings only...
Edit: I might remember a crazy 40min ladder game on Shakuras just after IPL where Kas did out-dropped him, a little bit like the Happy game but longer and more awesome !!

he'll play against polt this week for msi ?

Yes, indeed, he'll have the chance to get revenge

yes but it will be held on eu server with ridicilous lags and delay for polt, so stephano would probably already lose reputation by droping one game

I don't think so they usually go on NA server, and your "lose reputation by droping one game" is quiet ridiculous ...

Oh sorry, didnt know it was na server, eu-na and kr-na is at least kinda equal i guess, so we hopfefully get to see some very close games and a good revenge for stephano
edit: still, liquidedia says it's on eu, how do you guys know that it is on na? don't get me wrong, since it would be a good thing to do for games between koreans and europeans i believe you, but i watched most msi procups and i can't remember somebody saying something about serverswitching...

If I understood corectly, Llewellys said it : it's on eu server for a match between 2 eu players, kr server for a match between 2 kr players, and na server for a match between a kr player and an eu player...

To be fair, small lag even in equal amount favor more the Z player Z in TvZ. ( that's why Kr Z so often wins on on-line-tournements/qualifiers on NA server while Koreans T wins more on KR server ).
I can't imagine Polt's assembly so-hight-quality micro in cross server conditions, and he wins because of that. (superb effectiveness of his army )
but interesting revenge however

Did anyone see an interview with Stephano after Assembly? I'd love to hear what he thinks about the finals as well as how he though Polt and he played. The finals were definitely some of the best SC2 I've ever seen, so contested, it would be amazing to see him break down each game.
It was also kind of sad that he got chased off the stage by the host before the finals. He was going to talk tough and drop some knowledge bombs on that stage for sure. Crowd would have loved it. Would have been fun to see. Probably would have energized the little social butterfly :D

I can confirm that the LP is choosing the EU server because the main server was and still is EU. Some games happen on KR or NA especially for cross server players.

I would have love to see him face MC in the group with the state of his ZvP right now but it's still a really cool group with a lot of fan favorites inside, I just hope he can practice his ZvT to compete with MKP.
The lineup of the whole tournament is really sick though, and the players coming from the qualifiers are more likely to be korean players so it'll definitely be tough. Really looking forward to it anyway!

Kas is overrated. He hasn't won anything major and his mechanics are average. He just plays a lot.
Unfortunately Stephano will not find a EU terran at Korean level. I think Thorzain was the closet for a time.
