Given IdrA's massive overhype, people will always compare the two as they are the stand out representatives of their race. Everyone who looks beyond marking/hype knows who the superior player is.

Keeps you on the edge of your seat while he is playing. Stephano is too good, it's not exciting enough to watch him steamrolling everything. The guy is some kind of genius.

Say what you want about ELO, but given how many games the top Koreans have played in foreign tournaments it's probably not a bad predictor of who will win a given match up. Go Stephano -- 4-0 polt. The TLPD ELO is quite skewed. You can get very high by beating a lot of rather weak opponents. That shouldnt be possible. A better ELO (and all around) is sc2charts.net. There Stephano is Rank8.

Elo is not an acronym, but a name.

Even if they are smaller than the bigger tournaments (IPL, NASL, MLG, GSL), he plays against good players. The best korean pros almost only play in GSL. Occasionally some will come to internacional events but the ratio is very small. And if you add all Stephano's earnings and compare to those same koreans, you will see that he tops most of them. It's a matter of perspective: if you want the player that plays the best you probably need to look to GSL champions since they have the most competitive tournament. But if you also want the player the plays the most tournaments and wins them you have to broad up your view a little more. In that case you'll have to include Stephano in the top list because he is in fact one of the best SC2 players in the world.

Polt's resilience is very good. Polt has a very good chance of beating Stephano. But Stephano has a very good chance to beat Polt. So, I can't wait for some excelent games from both of them. If you're beating weak opponents your Elo will only go up very, very little and if you lose your Elo rating will go way, way down, so you can't inflate it that way. It's just not how it works.
