if it was any other Terran besides MKP or MMA spamming MMM against DRG they would've been dismantled in seconds....give credit where it's due, man, MKP is a fantastic player.

I already reported him for balance whining. Keep on topic with DRG please, if you want to praise MKP, his fanclub is that way --->

How come when I build marines and medevacs I don't automatically win MLG
oh maybe it's because it's the skill of the player that determines the winner and not the composition of the army, lol, it's plainly obvious that by this point only minor imbalances exist, if any -- there definitely aren't entire unit compositions that just guarantee victory at a given level of play, i mean come on. hope you're just mad or trolling and not actually that dumb, for your sake..

Dont Americanize Esports please, this isn't the Cowboys losing to the Eagles... A man's pride and heart is at stake, show him some support so he overcomes it.

ZvT is pretty bullshit. It's ridiculous how terrans can keep up with zerg's supply and ahead of upgrades by using hellions for the long rush distances and bio play for closer rush distances. Well, the more ridiculous shit is things start snowballing if you choose the wrong tech choice due to inability to scout and how hard-countered zerg units are.
Anyway this loss is not what i didn't expect. All along i felt he's the underdog against top terrans even during the period he was dominant against them. MKP is the only terran in the world that understands almost any terran unit composition is viable with excellent unit control. Mutas will almost never work against him as he relies on control, not tanks, to deflect banelings. Not to mention, this mlg has some shitty maps for ZvT: antiga, close-positioned entombed valley, shakuras, close-air metapolis, tal'darim.
I might be wrong but i feel the thing i fear that will inevitably happen, after him being dominant for so long, might happen. That is: playing not to lose instead of playing to win. This is the true reason what knocked him out early in his first 2 code S seasons. Many think that he's only good at playing games that opponents cant prepare well for (MLG, GSTL) and he's bad at playing games that require preparation (normal gsl), but i don't that is very true. He can actually be good at both.
He's already showing signs of it in the later phase of the GSL he won and in this MLG. He's getting more predictable in ZvP match-ups even though he's still winning them. It might be fearing the crazy strats mkp can pull off but you can't just give in to that easily. Or it might just be simply lack of specific game preparation for his opponents, and him never had the intention to do so in this MLG. The thing is he always play better when he plays to win (i.e him preparing specifically in advance for his games or playing his best after being down in games). He's very similar to MMA.
Sad to say, but there's no solid way of playing zerg anymore ever since the Nestea era. You have to pull out all your mind-games and attempt to control the pace of the series. I feel this loss is a good thing just before his gsl and gstl. I hope he has enough time to tweak his mindset.
Remember nobody can win forever. It's still a pretty good result considering he has reached finals in every tourny he joined ever since blizzcup. Hope to see DRG continue to lead the swarm for a long time. If DRG can't do it, no other zergs can do it. Only he has the skills with the mental tenacity to back it up.
I want in on the fan club! I've been a fan since seeing that "aggressive female fan" placard @ mlg [D: can't remember which one I knew I should have ss]. I thought someone who can motivate that kind of a response is something special, and that's correct. Anyway he got third there => code s win; DRG is a pro, will continue to impress with his skill, and dedication.

You used your first post to write all this huh? Welcome to the club... Djagulingu said he will add everyone new once this fanclub reaches page 100.
I can't wait to see DRG at Anaheim. I'm going to wear a DRG shirt! :O
DRG clawed his way to the top one step at a time, and I respect him a lot for it. First GSTL, then Code S, then to the GSL finals, and then finally a GSL. It seems no one has had a longer road to the top than him, and that points to how dedicated and talented of a guy he is.
That said, I think in the end MKP might have just wanted it more than DRG, and that showed.
