DRG spent a lot of time meeting fans and signing autographs this weekend, and he was always smiling. Great guy, and he proved once again that he's among the best in the world.

In group selection, DRG probably has a chance to get Marineking into his group. Marineking will say that he likes to play DRG again, but in truth he will be frozen in fear. And then, when he cannot advance to RO8 because of DRG he will regret his decision to challenge him at MLG.
You don't choose to play zerg. The zerg choose you.

Great play from DRG at MLG, but MKP is just too good ~.~

I'm sure DRG will knock MarineKing right out of the GSL again...
But first, DRG really needs to learn how to deal with MKP's triple orbital expand coinflip on a 2 rax.
Half the time MKP builds 2 rax, it's bunker rush, the other half is triple orbital.
DRG should not be afraid to roach/bane bust every time if MKP gets greedy. It's really all about scouting, which is pretty hard to do when marines and SCV attacks your natural. But if anyone can do it, it's our DRG.

I think, in a greater sense, this is the crux of ZvT. If the zerg can scout the terran and knows how to react, he has good chances to win. If the terran came up with a new strategy, he has good chances to take the game.

I guess the only thing DRG can overcome this is to be less predictable either so the terran NEEDS to scout him and to prepare for any silly roach or bane bust regardless. On the other hand, we already have such a zerg: July. He is very good but currently not as good as DRG. July's risk taking also can backfire.

That's a great point. I just want to point out that every time DRG decides to roachbane someone, he almost always ends up winning. The single exception is with Gumiho game 2 at the 2012 GSL S1. But then again, DRG only lost that game due to a hidden expansion at the center. I feel like his aggression usually comes from good scouting...unlike July who is aggro for no reason sometimes.

Well, DRG is already quite unpredictable because he uses a wide array of styles and is not afraid to mix in all ins. We've seen him use several all ins at MLG and he always executes them cleanly.

On an unrelated note, please do sign me up for this fanclub, I've been a DRG fan for a long time and he's been my favourite Korean player ever since he won Dreamhack Valencia.

On the other hand, at least he's cheering up thanks to us fans.

Someone took a picture with him during Columbus and tweeted "when's the wedding?"
In a long series of laughter, DRG replied "May."
