Ok now for the gossip part. Apparently, DRG has been kicked out of GrandMasters League on the Korean server for this season because he was caught smurfing on another account. What does this mean exactly? Everyone smurfs on Korean GM? | ||

Might be that he was playing on someone else's account. You can smurf on your own secondary accounts but you cannot play on someone else's. I remember Huk got banned from ladder one season for doing something similar on his stream. | ||

That's odd because it's very common on the ladder. Especially Kespa teams seem to have a lot of barcode accounts on GM that are shared. If you look, they have almost equal number of games played in each race, and at the very top level, no one off-races that much, and can have as good win rate on their off-race as their main. Innovation and Hyvaa were openly sharing accounts this season, for example. Are you sure it's not a misunderstanding, and he didn't just mean he stopped laddering on another account because everyone knew it was him already or something? I mean, after all, even if he shares his account with other MVP players, how would Blizzard even know? | ||

But that's pretty common, a lot of pros were laddering with their own ids when HotS launched, then they switched to barcodes. | ||
