I'd say it's even between him and TaeJa and he's the favorite vs rain (they played PvZ on a bad map) who knows what will happen on a good one. If DRG gives himself a 85% chance of being the champ, hes playing well in practice too and has turned things around. Also, obviously DRG wanted Polt and when it came down to the end he said he wanted TaeJa

I might be crazy, and I don't mean to say he'll have an easy time, I think they are totally evenly matched, but I feel like perfectly executed MutaLingBling is way better against Taeja than any rushing towards hive. Should be great to watch if they meet! Even regardless of Taeja though, I think he can beat Polt and Rain, so I am quite hopeful that he'll make it to the round of 8.

Polt is a great player and im not counting him out by any stretch of the imagination, but DRG absolutely crushed him 2 days ago. I think he will advance past Polt and then he has two chances to advance. Anything can happen from there.

[F_]aths Germany3947 Posts September 15 2012 20:35 GMT #3516 I think DRG has the caliber to beat Taeja. If DongRaeGu enters the game with the right mentality, he should be able to pwn his group. One the one hand, Taeja is a very, very good Terran. On the other hand, Taeja is a Terran.

sitromit 7051 Posts September 17 2012 11:36 GMT #3519 Looks like DRG got 2-0'ed by Yonghwa then lost 2-1 to SC in the lower bracket of the IEM Guangzhou qualifiers. I guess it's good that he won't be traveling too much and can focus on practice, but losing to SC so close to his OSL match against MKP, when SC hasn't been all that good lately is worrisome... And his troubles with ZvP continue apparently. I hope he finds his style again.

neoghaleon55 United States7435 Posts September 17 2012 12:22 GMT #3520 sC is his teammate I'm sure they know each other's builds pretty well. His ZvT was top notch last week, even against aLive in the NASL. Let's hope he can bring back that A game in the days to come.
