Does anyone know his rationale for choosing mutalisk upgrades? Against mkp he went armour first, against nada and supernova he went attack followed by armour (1/1), and against MMA he went armour first. I recognize the value in armour first (evidenced by leenock games) and I've actually been doing armour first myself on ladder and it's great. But seeing dongraegu switching between them... there's gotta be something that the terran is doing that influences his choice of upgrade. | ||

Well, MKP made marauders instead of tanks to shield against banelings and because marauders aren't exactly the shit against +1 attack doublelings, he didn't feel that he had to kill marauders as early as possible with mutas and survival against marines became more important. Nada and Supernova, they had a good amount of tanks and moderate amount of marines, so he had attack first to get rid of tanks while relatively low number of marines were conflicted at whether they should attack +1 ling-bling that are running towards them or mutas that are killing their tanks. MMA, he started with insane amount of marine and relatively low factory count. So, he got carapace first against marines while sniping low number of tanks. At least that's what I think it is. | ||
