he's still going to blizzcon with a 99.9915% chance or something along those lines

I hope he trains hard and shows a good result there, shouldn't let those points go to waste on another performance where he loses to EU players.

That's a coin flip simulation though thus Mvp actually has more chance to drop out considering the players below him are strong and still in.

Imagine if Mvp played in WCS KR instead of EU. He would probably get 0 points. lol

Eh, hard to say. His form in season 1 was pretty good so he might have been able to make top 5 in that season and got the same top 4 finish at the season finals. His form for the past two seasons has been pretty bad though.

KR is strong still?
I don't think so man..look at the S2 finals
and Eu is so lag
.. i think maybe in KR he is better..
and theres another thing i'm wondering..
WHY THE CASTERS looks so happy when he lost..
I mean without those superstars
who give a shit about EU..
well for me, WCS is over now

Yeah, I hate when casters don't hype up all of the players equally.

Yea I still need to get it to pull from aligulac, won't be hard I just haven't gotten around to it. Although it is worth noting that the players in premier league are pretty close to each other.

Yes. Personally I think he will be 13-16th by the end of the season.

Either way he's got an incredibly good chance to make it, I'd say at least 99% even after factoring in aligulac ratings.

Just got home, finished watching all of the games. I did my duty and faithfully added all the VODs to the fan club, so you can check them out...

God damn it!!! I am so sad right now... So this is what I come home to find? One of the most depressing events I have witnessed this year...

I don't recommend watching the games. Seriously, the VODs suck (I assume the stream was dying or something) and the games themselves were largely terrible.

Mvp vs. ShoWTimE was just depressing... clearly Mvp hasn't figured out TvP, he couldn't punish the greedy Protoss. Mvp tried different approaches such as Widow Mines and Hellions and drops and SCV pulls, but in the end, the Protoss just teched up, hit 3-3, and rolled over Mvp. Watching those games was incredibly frustrating... the Protoss seemed so safe with just a Mothership Core and lategame PvT is as difficult as ever...

Mvp vs Noname was okay... at least Mvp handily crushed Noname, but that isn't indicative of Mvp's skill at all. Noname played pretty badly, walking into Mvp's siege line and handing him the victory.

Overall, it was a terrible day for Mvp. He really needs to focus on his health and prepare for BlizzCon, because we all know he's going to qualify. Right now, his chances look dismal but remember that Mvp plays better when he faces stronger opponents... a fact which makes it all the more depressing when he loses to people worse than himself!

I am looking forward to the Sydney event, it will be so cool to see Mvp chilling out with his fans and relaxing. Other than that, I guess we'll see Mvp in Challenger League Round of 40.

That's so true. Infact that is why he started to be really popular. At some point, when people like Nestea, MKP DRG, MMA, MC etc got a huuuuuuge fan support from the get go when they started to win major tournament, MVP didn't had that much support again, yet he was the most consistent of them all and ended up being the most dominating player of WoL. Luckily around that time the majority of people started to realize how awesome he really was.

In short: MVP will rise from the ashes as he always have, because unlike most players: MVP doesn't slump, he rests... to bring the thunder another day

And guys pleeeeeeeeeease don't hate on (P)ShowTime, what he did is so huge for him, we should be proud of a newcomer beating the best WoL player twice in a row, something the majority of the best foreigners STILL can't do

I remember that Mvp wasnt that popular back in 2011 when he dominated everyone especially not with the Korean fans. I think his injury made him a fan favorite because we have seen what happens with injured players. They start slumping or take really long breaks off from SC2 but Mvp kept playing and went deep in tournaments and kept winning with most likely heavily reduced practice time which is just amazing.
