Just look at his GSL runs, one season he wins, next season he drops down to code a. He goes back into code s and reaches finals, then next season falls to code a. There's time when people expect him to win the whole tournament he ends up with a mediocre score and drops out. Its like your own hero, Idra, is so trash that you need to come into other fan clubs and actually try to put down the only Sc2 bonjwa. No one every wins everything. But Mvp wins the most.

On May 29 2013 08:22 skylarr wrote: He's not performing well unfortunately ![]() That's quite an exaggeration. He had an extremely strong TvZ, the only one that ever looked as dominant as Innovation's does today. Except for that, he wasn't as dominating as you say he was (even more if you treat him with the same standards that BW fans use for Mvp). He started with an MLG win, then he went out in the RO16 of GSL, he won the next one with some close scores (except for the final), went out in the RO8 of the next, won Blizzard Cup, went out in the RO8 of the next GSL and never ever performed again in GSL. He had a kind of easy IEM win compared to the precedent tournaments and a good run in Iron Squid. Don't get me wrong, he is a great player with a lot of results but I don't think that comes close to the domination of Flash as described by BW fans. As a comparison, Mvp had a better streak for me. Won MLG Raleigh, won GSL August, second GSL October, won Blizzcon, 4th in MLG with an incredible run from open bracket, semi finals in GSL November, won WCG and looked extremely good at every point in this period, only losing to MMA and Leenock during this in big solo tournament.

Admittedly it was quite brief and the player only won 2 noteworthy tournaments, but everyone - and I mean EVERYONE -, was scared to go up against him during this period. It was Mvp in the beginning of 2011. He crushed through the Gainward Tournament with a record of 12-1 and then preceded to take his first GSL with a record of 16-1. I remember an interview where even Nestea stated he didn't want to go up against Mvp because he was just too good. It's a shame he didn't have more tournaments to rip through back then. He also all killed the all star zerg line up in the Gisado race wars at that time. it was ridiculous

Wow I wasn't really aware of all that, I only really started following MVP in his end of 2011 domination period where he only lost to Leenock and MMA; the only things stopping him from winning every tournament there.
