If this wasn't the case he would be labelled bonjwa. And also his wrist injuries. Yeah but he is insanely consistent when it comes to Bo5/Bo7 series and GSL format in general. And he doesn't win tournaments here and there, he has won a higher percentage of the tournaments he has attended than almost every other player and does not rely on one hotstreak of good play to get tournament wins; he proves that he always will be a top player.

Yes, he wins whenever he reaches elimination rounds but does he reach there everytime? Just look at his GSL runs, one season he wins, next season he drops down to code a. He goes back into code s and reaches finals, then next season falls to code a. There's time when people expect him to win the whole tournament he ends up with a mediocre score and drops out.

Why are you doing this in his fan club? Have some manners...

I don't see a problem, everything he said is completely true. I remember last year right after he won the GSL vs Squirtle, he then went to Homestory Cup only to be eliminated in the group stages by (at the time ) mostly unknown EU players, it was extremely disappointing. If he doesn't put up results worthy of his legacy for a while people start doubting his ability. When you have an injury like that your mechanics start to decline, so that's where the reduced ability comes from. In today's games however, his macro and micro were both spot on and he didn't seem injured at all, hopefully It's not bothering him as much as it was a few months ago when he fell out of GSL. In Game 4 I still don't even know how he managed to win after his first push was deflected, down 0-0 to 2-2 and down in economy. His micro in that game was something you would expect from MKP, not a guy with exploded wrists.

Don't forget in Game 1... Stephano did really well to deflect all of Mvp's drops, but Mvp's drop play was really inspiring. His multitasking is certainly up to par... in fact, it is reminiscent of Mvp vs. XiGua Game 2 at the WCG Finals in 2011. Not once did Mvp seem to have trouble with his hands. Ladies and gentlemen... the King is back. (Or, to put it more accurately, the King never left!) Edit: Check out this post I made in the TLO vs. Mvp Liquibet thread. On May 23 2013 14:36 Entirety wrote: As I pressed the mouse button, I concentrated all of my willpower into this decision until the fabric of space-time was distorted. My mouse caught on fire and the prophecy was engraved upon the sacred stone tablet. The 200 human tributes scattered around my desk passed into the next world peacefully, and their life energy opened the gate to Mvp's inner soul. From there, the shackles of his mortal body were freed at last. His body pains him no longer, he feels no fatigue. The zen state within which he currently resides is the domain of gods. So the prophecy declares: Behold ye doubtful, beyold ye unbelievers On that fateful day, the Round of 8 of WCS EU A brave warrior by the name of TLO shall do battle But none shall overcome the terrifying might of the Terran King So it has been written, and so it shall come to pass Mvp 3-0 + Show Spoiler + I just chose Mvp as my Liquibet. It feels good. The prophecy came true! :D

He must have had fun plowing through EU zergs on the way to that championship. 3-0 TLO 3-0 Dimaga 3-1 Stephano I think they put up a good fight though, not that they could beat mvp in a best of 5 but some games definitely were very close. I was especially impressed by dimaga performance.

While MVP has fallen off completely from Code S sometimes while other times he owns up, he is still probably the most consistent top player in WoL (we'll see in HotS) overall simply because no other player has remained relevant as MVP has since SC2 came out. While yes, some seasons he wins, some season he drops out immediately but what matters though is that he keeps staying relevant (especially top 10, maybe top 5 best players throughout most of the game). (Also when I say "relevant" I mean to his ability when MVP came out or became well known. MVP taking finals and champions throughout the years, it doesn't matter if MVP wins only 1 or 2 major tournaments a year, as long as he can keep it up throughout the years, and it also helps if no other player has been able to achieve this.) MVP is one of the few players (especially from late 2010, early 2011) to be good during those era and remain relatively good till now. Some players remain somewhat consistent where they are where they don't fall off of Code S, but a lot of those players also haven't won a Code S yet. Some players may own everything for a period of time but so far, none has proven to be consistent (though with HotS and players like Innovation and Life are definitely contenders for that). Overall, MVP has proven to be one of the few consistent top players in SC2. No other player that started when SC2 came out has done as well as MVP (in terms of staying relevant and staying somewhere in the top 10 or so throughout the entire game).
