Stream is up!

I've barely seen him lose a single game so far. Too strong for EU ladder, it seems.

I might have missed this, but nani why aren't you competing at DH? It seems like a good run there could help you to stay top 16 in WCS?

He feels like he isn't ready for DH. Which is a rather sad reason to miss such an important tournament. It's like not fucking Angelina Jolie because you have aids. I would, you would but Naniwa wouldn't.

He said on stream a couple of days ago that his team wanted him to go but that he felt that it was too much with both DH and his 70 hours of streaming this month...

i understand that its a bad decision from some point of views! i think it wouldve been great for me and certainly if i could just force myself to go somehow i think it would be good. But right now my thoughts are somewhat like, i know how tough the competition is and clearly i played ilke shit at my WCS Group losing to targa. Its not like i can just go to bucharest and assure a top placing when my mind is a bit hazy and i am thinking about alot of other stuff in life that i shouldnt be thinking about when im playing. My motivation has been a bit shaky as of late and im trying to fix this because i know that for me to be a top contender i need to be rock solid mentality wise. I guess all in all what im saying is that i have some motivation problems. im working on it. and i feel like im going to be ready for IEM newyork ^^ I dont want to force myself too much because even i need breaks sometimes to think about stuff as the mental aspect of the game is very important. I hope you all understand.

Expects to do well in WCS Europe(?): loses to tefel
Expects to do bad at mlg: highest placed foreigner
Expects to do bad vs jaedong at dreamhack: wins
Expects to do bad vs innovation: 2-0 victory
Expects to do well in wcs europe: loses to targa

pressure-pattern?

Naniwa do really good when everything is on the line, and has problems facing lesser opponents; however in contrast to Idra, Naniwa is aware of the mental problem and wants to fix it, Naniwa will become the best, because he wants to be the best.

But he isn't an idiot, he knows dealing with fundamental things are far more important than the next upcoming tournament.
A trait that has put him ahead of the foreigners.

Are you his spokesperson?

I'm curious what naniwa actually thinks you see. Not what you think he thinks.

yes ive noticed this too its true for some instances. but Against tefel i was cocky. something i wont do again.

vs Targa the second time i got blindcountered and i didnt have enough buildorders to play since i didnt have that much time to practice between WCS Worlds and then. so i just had my old stuff to rely on that everyone already knew . i am evolving at the moment and my playstyle will change a little bit after this practice ^^ But im also aware that i play better when i dont feel pressure. i think everyone does. but im improving little by little. i am not a god or anything above anyone of you. im just a guy with more talent than most and eventually i am confident that i will conquer my nerves ( i already feel way less nervous than i used to ) I almost feel no nervs when playing these days. I guess what i am saying is that im aware of it, and im just trying to do what _I_ think is best. even if i dont know if its actually the best Sometimes outside perspective is good. But so far i think ive done pretty well for myself these years as a SC 2 progamer. and i only feel my level rising and confidence getting higher. so even if i do bad at some times. i am confident in my abillity as a progamer. i think i am unique in some ways to other foreign players that i dont fear competition. i just try to beat it i guess that sums up my thoughts abuot this!

I can understand your reasons for not playing in DH: Bucharest, even if I don't necessarily agree with them. Sometimes, even when you feel you aren't ready, you must do it anyway. And, then, usually you find you are ready.

Sometimes the saying, "fake it until you make it" has truth to it.

Anyway, good luck to you.
