Even if you didn't win this tournament NaNiwa or qualified for WCS Europe, you're always the World Champion in my heart.

As for someone who followed NaNiwa on stage, he didn't played bad. ThorZaIN is good at TvP and SorfOf has been on fire recently

Also thanks for giving me a autograph at the event

People, he lost to players he shouldn't lose to, but he came back from going into GSL Top 8 and ALMOST beating DRG. He's not in a slump. At all. He's getting better and better, and just had a bad day or two.

im actually questioning drg's zvp. He loses to socke constantly and almost never beats MC anymore.

it's due to his nature as a player whose talents shine brightest when he has time to prepare for a match
the opposite example would be stephano who appears to be strongest when he doesn't have much time for preparation for each individual match

best part of that example is that they are the two best foreigners at the moment (going off of results and personal feeling mostly results)

It just seems like he performs better when he can outsmart his opponent. Which kinda requires you to know his style of play. Sortof scouted very well with his overlords, if naniwa was more aware of this he would probably not have gone for that blinkstalker attack for example(?).

I like both thorzain and naniwa so I was happy anyways Too bad nani didnt make wcs tho but hey cant get it all

edit: he seems to never perform as well in sweden. Nerves? Or maybe hes just not as good as the players he lost to, at least not in that setting

Ive followed nani since 2010 and I can safely say he preforms when no one expects him to preform/ there is no hype behind him.

i dont think it has to do with "being in sweden" or somewhere else. he seems to be better in formats like GSL where he can prepair. Hes still a great player in other formats as well.
Also, Protoss is not the race to constantly show top performances, its still the most fragile race it seems.

Yeah cuz an online qualifier is like Code-S right?

Let's see Johnyrecco in GSL vs nani. No way would he win over nani there.

I wonder if we could send Nani one of those inspiring care packages some of the other players get when they fall on hard times.

well I would not bet on that. Nani seems to have a mental block against Zergs. Still he is one of the best protoss players out there.

I wish you would just play standard strats, because your army control, decision making and building execution are phenomenal, I dont think you need to risk it with dts
