Edit: Nevermind, it was stupid. But Gom really needs to evaluate their tournaments so that there are no pointless matches. I love GSL but Bo1's are just not a good measure of skill. I mean... Whatever.

I so much understand how he feels, getting allinned a lot even if you play damn well and lose basically all your games to all ins is really frustrating, i think he made a funny decision, like he was saying: all you koreans do is all in, here is my all in too..So i think this guy earned quite a bit of sympathy by me, because i get allinned a ton too and i almost have the same reactions to it too..

LOL. Way to show how little you know about / are in touch with your own players, Quantic. ^^

I can perfectly understand his move, he's not the kind of person that would play for a 4th place in the group. Tournaments should consider these things every time they make a format that can make some games meaningless. Starcraft is incredibly draining physically and emotionally, you can't expect players to play the games live "just because".

I wasn't a fan before, but that creative build in his last game has me intrigued. Sign me up, please.

thing is he will never be at the top with this kind of attitude. Look at Idra when he was in good shape he was for the first time for a long time not that bm with his usual ragequit and was doing good.

Not to mention disrespect to the player for making them play such a useless match.
Most fans here aren't surprised at all, we know Naniwa is very capable of pulling stunts like this and that's exactly why we think he's awesome.

If you've followed the scene for any while at all you should be well aware of the fact that Nani doesn't give 2 shits about viewers and producers and you shouldn't expect that to change.

I would have liked to see the probe micro tbh. But it was more badass this way.

For his defence, i don't see the difference between his attitude and Idra's one, i'm a fan of none of those kids but the bias toward Idra amazes me, i'm glad everybody shit on Naniwa but we should be fair and shit on Idra too... community is sometimes strange seriously.

So sad for naniwa, i wish he didn't react like that, but i understand it.

I hope this doesn't get you down too much, and you find it in you to apologise to the people you let down by throwing that match.

<----- still a fan of your play. And (usually) your determination.
The world is ending what should we do about it?

Can't blame Naniwa. That game was completely meaningless. No chance to advance, no additional prize money. Plus it was pretty funny and badass.

Better luck in Code S Nani.
It can't be helped. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not strange, just ignorant.

It's like people completely forget that people are not all the same and act different in different situations...

Nani's and Idra's attitudes are nothing alike though. Nani is pissed off at himself, not at the game or other players and how they play the game. He drives himself harder, while when Idra had his mental block he was actually demotivated and practiced less.

But i admit even if the personality of Naniwa disgusts me, he's play is Beautifull, every time i watch him i hope he looses but every times he surprises me by rafined moves. Like the pylon he made at the b2 of polt to cut renfocements that was so Beautifull. Happily he lost that one too :p
