I agree, he played really well. The games vs Nightend were so ridiculously smooth, he was in control (no pun intended) almost the entire time. Overall pretty nice and unusually aggressive TvZ as well (you can tell he's been practicing with Demuslim), but European Zergs are just so strong right now. The only thing I'm not sure about is his 2rax-pressure, I think he could have done more damage with that, especially in the second game vs Nerchio, but I'm still glad he's warying his play a little.

Thorzain, if you're reading this, remember something against zerg, man. Cost efficiency. A zergling counter of the type Lowely and Nerchio threw at you is hugely inefficient against a bunker or a planetary positioned just behind your walloff. The way you play is so spectacularly methodical, but you don't take it to the extreme you should. When you've got a zerg shut down on 3 bases like you keep doing, just be prepared for the inevitable counter attack. A bunker will hold off 15+ zerglings. A planetary will hold off a hundred supplys worth of zerglings.

The way you play is strategically amazing - it just needs some thought into home defence.

I know the way pros play says that you want as little static defense as possible, but you only need to look at what protoss and zerg do these days with their static defense. 20+ crawlers and photon cannons against each other, usually at a colossal investment.

Thorzain played very well against Marine King Prime... But i have to say that MKP decisionmaking in the second game was just odd... He kept making vikings against marauders, but the thorzain drop finished that whole game. But Thorzain steamrolled him very nice in his last game.
