Okay so I've been waiting patiently for about 2 months now for someone to make this. Obviously no one did. I made this because i was looking for replays to study of IMmvp and couldn't find any.
If you have anything you want me to add to the OP post it, any help appreciated.

Also did anyone notice that the last games all went like mvp takes a really big disadvantage in the early or early midgame and and than ignore his disadvantage and put up epic games? The games vs Idra, Bomber, Squirtle all went this way. Did he only try something for him or the public or is he nervous in the beginning of the game and needs to come in?

Sign me up as well. Mos' Def' link the replays to MVP v Squirtle and MVP v Bomber. Those games were sick! MVP is one of my favorite players and I don't even play Terran :X

I just realized that Tastosis has so many nicknames for him, first it was Hippo Terran, then Captain America, and now Game Genie Terran. I'm expecting at least 3 more nicknames by the end of this season's GSL.

Anyways, all the blind Protoss is OP comments are invalidated in this case by MVP's questionable engagements he committed to in these games.
IMO, he felt some need to just try to end the games quickly and it ended up costing him. Maybe he just severely underestimated Alic/Gen and assumed he could do almost anything and win regardless.
I think we all can agree that he'll quickly place back into Code S for next season, nothing to worry about.
Today was a sad sad day. I'm presuming they'll match the 16 players from S/A who go down to/remain in Code A for the next season with the 16 players who qualify from the Code B prelims (or are seeded there as foreigners), which should mean he won't be getting anyone like Ace/Choya/Boxer etc.
That said I'm a little worried about him getting one of the innumerable strong Protoss players who will inevitably be attempting to qualify, there's still guys like Seed/Squirtle/Puzzle/Yonghwa etc floating around and I'd not be surprised to see a couple of them make it in next season.

Yes, this is the biggest problem MvP may have in Code A, if he get's one of these guys there may be a serious chance he'll be eliminated before the Ro8, although these guys have beaten him in Ro1, which is completely different than Ro3.
Welcome 2 CodeA :D TvP is the hardest matchup for Terran and Alicia and Genius are good players, so tough luck! July in the GRP-Stage maybe the best Z atm. 3/4 Players in Top4 were Toss, so MVP should blame the balancing and the groupdraw.

Yes because every GSL, whichever race is the dominant one is the imbalanced one. He got outplayed, period. He'll also come back to Code S next season and rip everyone up again.
Mvp is gonna be the king of starcraft 2 (my opinion) Hes also considering switching race from terran btw... he said in his intervirew... he has so much talent streaming in his blood he will make a good race decision and pawn all .. Best of Luck

MVP is a more solid player then MC is. Where MC is just very good at All-in's. Not to take away from MC. MC is the best protoss but his style is very risky.

He stated himself being a TerranQQ in interviews before. Don't give the comment to much credit, maybe it's true, but he also says "if terran gets nerfed again". So we will see.

You're definitely right. We've seen MC play long games before(such as against Bomber in the Ygosu invitational) and while he's certainly an excellent player at all stages of the game, I think MC is just a step below the very very top players such as MVP in the late game.

He lost game 2 because of lags (the game 2 would have certainly been won if he had a good latency to micro reaper&marine at the beginning / do a good kite with his m&m later in the game) and no-upgraded bioball against fully upgraded gateway units style. Plus he probably have not studied AdelScott and trained for this match, whereas AdelScott (who is a very very good EU protoss) has trained A LOT his PvT (and studied MVP's TvP) before the game. Training wise Adel deserves the win, but I don't think you have to worry about MVP cuz of this TSL match, wait for the next GSL to see how he does in code A. (I hope he'll do well cuz every terran are "slumping" :/).

I love MVP, but its not because he's slumping, it's because he has had horrendous TvP. The entire time... Sure he beat Tester in S1 of code S, but tester was trippin balls playwise, and MVP sure made some unconvincing wins despite that fact.
He consistently lost to Protoss outside of code S the entire season. In the gainward he only played Z and T, not a single protoss. MC continuously made MVP his bitch (MC lost once in the GSTL, once) in various smaller tournaments.
I really hope he does straighten out his TvP because thats the only thing stopping him from winning another championship (besides Code A).
Apparently MVP can hold his own against some P, even though HUK's game 1 might qualify under "tripping balls". Let's hope it's the beginning of a trend.
So nice seeing MVP playing well again. I was a bit worried since his play against HuK seemed rather risky and a bit shaky (except for game 3). But his play tonight restored my faith in him.
His TvZ is still unmatched (when he's not being greedy). Also, MVP is adapting his play to be less greedy. He's not FEing in every TvZ and TvP now so expect MVP to charge through code A!!

MC has not proven that he can win a real macro game against another top notch player. Not saying that he needs to with his current style, but I don't feel like his mechanics are as good as mvp's. Whether or not that makes mvp a better or worse player, I don't know. All I know is, mvp has impressed me far more than MC has.
A lot of progamers actually play with random time to time, it's good to know what's the current trend for each race at the moment, I'd guess. Also someone's ladder stats don't really say much since they practice in custom games against their teammates.
Fitting that the best player in the world is taking the world championship. Congrats to IMMvp on your well deserved title, still the greatest there is.

The result that everyone predicted. Props to MKP for putting up a fight though, but IMO the only player who has a chance to beat Mvp is a Bo7 atm is MC. Possibly July.

indeed, ever since falling to code a, MVP has really upped his game by incorporating a plethora of new builds and strategies. MVP along with NaDa are truly my two favorite Terrans to watch play.
