I'm not going to comment on any possible personal life issues you are having because I know next to nothing about you, so who am I to comment? However, I do know you fairly well as a player, and I know that you are one of the best and most fun players to watch in SC2 and BW. Regardless of where your future in professional gaming goes, I will continue to support you and am thankful of your contribution to the StarCraft community as you have done a lot to make it how awesome it is today!

Hey Tyler, you're an extremely bright individual and a philosopher(which could be related to your problem).

I believe that we can change the way our brains work with our own thought. A re-wiring of sorts. It's worked for me regarding my own problems with how my brain worked. Maybe it will work for you if you believe it and try. I think this is a problem you will overcome with time.

i dont want to sound rude or out of place but....

im just putting two and two together,if Tyler has MDD, shouldnt he stop drinking so much alcohol since its a depressant? (i just hear about him drinking all the time on SoTG and on his stream sometimes

That's not really what depressant means. A depressant slows down some function of the body or brain, it's not related to depression.

Hey tyler, I've seen you on SotG and I didn't think much of it. After looking into who you really are I started watching your stream. You are one of two Protoss players that I respect and follow. Personally I think you have awesome tactical analysis.

What ever you are going through I'm sure its tough but every one of your fans is going to support you. I might not have known of you long but I can tell you are a very respect worthy person.

I hope you start feeling better. Take as much time as you need. I, like the rest of your fans, can wait for you to be feeling better.

I've also felt really depressed a couple months back, and when I look back I think most of it was due to regret and the feeling of unable to change some things that I wish now that was different back then. The underlined part is important. My advice is, if that is related to your issues, I think what got me out of it was to realize that past was different, me a couple months back and who I am now are completely different, in other words, if something didn't happen, it was due to some circumstances that I could not foresee and feelings I could not relate to at that time. So, the best thing is to always live the moment and think about the future, thinking back brings nothing but suffering. Always look ahead and try to do best. Don't let yourself down.
