Thats just nuts, we're you top runner in cc? Some high-schools are freaking gigantic so idk.

Some high-schools are freaking gigantic so idk. Yeah I was best at my school that year but there were a few schools in Texas where I would have been like #3 or maybe even #4 haha. Some of those high schools have really good coaches that get kids running like 60+ miles per week. It doesn't take a ton of talent for high schoolers to run sub-16 5k's when they've got some good coaching and they train hard and sleep a lot!

Tyler I was wondering if you could answer some running related questions for me. I'm currently running in college right now after having fantastic high school career which was mostly me running on my talent alone (~30miles a week, half of what my competitors were doing). I know I have what it takes to succeed in running at this level but I just have a hard time keeping my eyes on the prize, because of other distractions. I am very injury prone so I am not it great shape right now, but I want to be. I would love if you could tell me how you were able to keep yourself motivated to run while in college, when playing SC and a high level, or just advice for me as a runner. Thanks! :D

lol im the wrong guy to ask. i quit the team in college. if i had 0 setbacks im sure i could have had a great career. but injuries and the difficulty of running and eating and sleeping well while keeping up w/ classes at duke and trying to have a social life was impossible :o

Tyler you were absolutely correct in your criticism of the 5 player rule for NASL. I applaud you for voicing your concerns

I really liked the immortal drop style Tyler employed in the GCPL game vs Kas, unfortunately he lost the game but I still think the build has potential.
Edit: I also agree about the 5 member cap NASL rule.
