EPTI can't see a reason for that. Maybe in his mindset, he thinks, that he can easily stomp over inferior (foreign) opponents with some 1-dimensional strategies, due to his superior mechanics. If that's the case, he should accept very fast, that in SC2 strategical and tactical decisions are very important and can outweight easily any inferiority in micro or macro. I hope to see more of the marineking that wipes the ground with happy in 2012 and not anymore of the marineking that loses to inferior players due to bad strategies or decisions.

MKP is participating in the next AoL event : King of Kongs! feat. all the runner-ups from last year's GSL's  Linky It starts on Jan. 2nd. Also, He was ranked 1st again on the Korean ladder, but lost it to Polt. He still has a 80% winrate though! O.o Awesome... I also saw a great game against HerO on his stream... I'll say 2 words: midgame reapers :D check the VoD here and skip to 1h27' | ||

I think it's mostly his age and the fact that he wasn't like a big BW pro before. Give him time to etch out those decision making talents and in a year or two you will see a bestly MKP, even more so than now. MarineKing is wihtout a doubt one of the most talented players out of Korea right now. | ||

For GSL 2012 Season 1, he's in a group with Brown, Alive and Happy. I don't think Brown's a match, he beat Happy convincingly at WCG Korea iirc but Alive might be tough... + Show Spoiler + I didn't see the games vs LosirA, but he played good against Leenock and game 1 honestly when you are already commiting with 2proxied rax why not continue the contain? Little bad luck for him that Leenock had his baneling nest really early, because otherwise he had his 4rax ASAP. Against TOP he always have epic defense against huge pressure builds and then he played solid game 2. I am kinda confident for code S groupstages. | ||
