Probably a stupid question but where can I get some information about GSL / Code A? Never really cared about it but Id love to see MC fighting in Code A. And I think Khaldor said there was a free LQ Stream? And where can I look up results / future matches?
Probably going to only dpress me but I still believe that he can make it out of Code A at least

The silver lining to the recent GSL/MC developments? MC at more MLG events! Easy way to get back into Code S...win MLG. Problem?
I am such a huge fan on MC win or lose. MC, MLP and Nani care so much about this game that I am totally gutted when they lose. There are certainly other players that feel this way, but I see it more so on their faces and in their words.

I'd get out of this topic if you don't want spoilers. MC's match already happened, and you can watch VODs of it if you get a premium account on gomtv.net.

Yep, MC is out of the GSL.
The GSL has 2 divisions, Code S (upper tier) and Code A, each with 32 players. The ro32 losers of Code A (which includes MC) falls out of the GSL and will need to re-qualify.
The winner of Code A goes straight into Code S. Places 2-7 of Code A and the bottom 8 of Code S compete in the up/down matches for 6 Code S spots.

Thanks for the explanation =)
Yep, there's been one every month unless a special event (e.g. super tournament) occurs.

Balance aside, MC is getting passed up by other protoss right now. I just can't see Sage or JYP, etc. losing the way he did today. It's really uninspired, and I haven't seen him control the pace of a game in such a long time. He should be better than this at this point. MVP and Nestea have been fending off the younger generation, but MC is struggling and it's not just because Protoss is the weakest race.
I'm not in a position to coach MC, but he really needs to start adding in different builds. He played today's games like they were random ladder games, not as if his code A life was at stake. You have several days to prepare, and he didn't look prepared at all but just opted to play really standard in all 3 games. No mind games, no all-ins, nothing was attempted ever in all 3 games. Even if the all-in fails at least people are weary of you doing something like that more often. He'll be back in code A, but he needs to go back to the drawing board if he wants to get back into code S.

Code B is just the term used for people eligible for the Code A qualifiers. It used to be the top 200 or so in the Korean ladder, but has since been expanded to include Masters-level players as well.
