Honestly, the people steamrollin through with "haters gunna hate" and similar nonsense make this process 10 more difficult to resolve.

Watching the Cella stream is like tuning into a reality starcraft 2 tv show. You are basically following him through his training hours which includes the occasional do other thing. If Day9 shows a picture to us in his daily are people going to complain too?

First off no body is stopping him from streaming. And I for one don't care too much whether his stream is kept in the featured streams or not, I'll still watch it. Although I hope someone explains to him how to use the [misc] and [SC2] stream tags (I don't stream and I don't know how they work but seeing that other streamers keep switching between them, I know they DO work). And I hope after all this dust settles his stream is still featured (which would make noticing that he is on so much easier)
We all love Cella and I hope someone who knows good Korean can message him asking him to use the [misc] tag when he plans to do stuff except SC2 on stream for a bit.

you click a button on the top left of your screen, then you click a dragdown box from Starcraft 2 to Misc.
takes about 2 seconds to do on a slow day.

If Cella is playing SC2 85%-90% of the time and wants to entertain his fans afterwards or in between his SC2 sessions, you'd have to constantly watch his stream to unfeature him when he's not playing SC2 and then refeature him when he is. And to unfeature him because of what he does in that 10%-15%.... I dunno, just seems like a lot of work lol. Actually, he could just set his stream status to [misc] instead of [SC2] 
Cella actually tried doing this a few weeks back, I don't think he understood 'misc' as he was looking for 'Other'

I've read some threads, and one reason that comes back a lot for people that don't get featured tag, is the quality of their stream, what about kawaiirice? Shitiest quality i've ever seen, doesn't interact with his viewers AT ALL, also play his shitty osu game most of the time, if you remove cella's featured tag and not kawaii's one, theres is something wrong with your judgement.

Didn't realise there was some debate going on here.
My take on donations and streaming content is as follows.
* Donations *
I really don't have a problem with him asking however much. He only asks for the randomly, or when people are requesting funny things. It's more of an extra service thing. I don't even see why people have a problem with it, it's not like he's forcing people to donate anything.
I donate a little bit every now and then because he provides a lot of entertainment.
* Tagging *
For the most part Cella is streaming SC2. He sometimes stops for a few hours in a really long (9-10 hours?) stream to take a break. Isn't it a bit of a nuisance to change the tag for a little bit? It's not like it's wasting tons of peoples time.
In any case, I see it as SC2 related no matter what. It's fan interaction with one of the best SC2 players in the world. It's not like he is going off to play WoW or some other game in silence.

Part of the charm of Cella's stream is the oddities he gets up to between a long streak of games. Revoking his featured privilege for those oddities would be punishing him for allowing his personality to shine through on his stream, which is what makes his stream unique, and him so likeable.
The majority of his time on stream is spent playing SC2, is that primarily what I want to see? Of course. But do I also what to see him partake in some karaoke consisting of Avril Lavigne? Absolutely.
As my UK brethren above me mentioned, it's essentially fan interaction. He turns on his stream and you're allowed a glimpse into his world, which is SC2 the majority of the time. However, every so often you might end up choosing which chicken meal he orders.

I recently tuned in on cella´s stream because it was featured. I was not dissapointed and watched it for hours as he was laddering with mega-lag on the europe server, great entertainment.
Best stream around imo.
