I never stated he lost on purpose. I stated he thought he could get away with the old tactics vs inferior opponents.
Not playing to the full potential of his skill and using inferior strategies in a tournament especially at the moment where counters to the classic zerg play are well figured out by protoss nearly equals losing on purpose. Idra should have realized by now that excellent macro is not something that can keep you on the top as other players have massively catched up in mechanics and production. He said himself that Starcraft 2 is much more about outsmarting your opponent.

Some time ago on IncontroL's twitter it said that the EG Z's are working on a new style of ZvP, so I guess that means we'll see something better from Idra at MLG...

First game was quite convincing. If IdrA can take SEn then killer shouldn't be a problem. Like it how they agreed almost 100% on their builds except for the end with hydras. I love how IdrA seem to be doing the common builds, just slightly better, getting all the upgrades a bit faster, somehow squeezing out a bit more drones and a bit more units. Zvz really makes good macro shine.

Only Fenix, Select, And TT1 are left for idra to play
He has absolutely demolished all of these players numerous times so unless he fucks up like he did vs Agh he should easily get top 2

Yeah, Dimaga is pretty great (only player to eliminate NesTea on TV). So perhaps he's the only white guy (SEn doesn't count. > ) I think could beat IdrA in ZvZ. And before people scream "Nerchio", we've yet to see him face a player that's decent in ZvZ.
