Cause that was his game plan, roach\ling upgrading melee for an ultra transition. You'd think 8 ultras would demolish everything, but it's actually sad how little damage they do. Brood lords are shut down by blink stalkers way too easily.

Broodlords aren't good against Blink Stalker, and he saw the Twilight Council before Robo, so he could get Melee Upgrades early making Ultralisks worth it.

Haha these commentators are awesome. So much better than the usual crap we get.

Ohhhh... The moment when the green player gg-ed after the last ultra died... "Not again.............", I cried, before my brain registered Grubby ninjaed Idra's colour. :/
+ Show Spoiler +Yes, I know Grubby has been using green from since before Idra knew what a RTS game was

It was 0-1 ultras fighting in small chokes thogh. They were not supposed to completely demolish the stalkers in this situation

Or because he has to trade armies and do damage or lose to mass blink stalkers or a deathball.

That would be weird seeing the korean sign in the background. Then again, you never know.

I have to say in that series, there weren't many situations where he would just A-move his army and leave them to die to forcefields and Colossus. His unit control was really good this series, except game 1 ofcourse

This is the son I raised. My champion.
Glad he got signed by oGs, they are worthy of his skill.

Unit control had nothing to do with game 1. Grubby sniped IdrAs hive and delayed the brood lords to the point where grubby was maxed w/ blink stalkers which destroy blords.
