If you've listened to him in interviews, you know he's never going to recognize his shortcomings and change them. He just believes the solution to everything is to beat his head against the wall even harder, and to practice the same approaches even more obsessively.
By the time the next GSL rolls around, the skill level will have risen enough that he's completely left in the dust. I wonder if he can even qualify then.
Who is paying for his food and rent? He can't possibly be making enough money from his tournaments, because he always loses them.
Stop trolling dude...
IdrA is definitely one of the most solid players in the world atm and that won't change anytime soon. Just cuz Zerg is heavily underpowered and IdrA is not just going for all-in-strats like the other Zergs do that don't get completely stomed by everyone.

I would be great if it set IdrA back and the ball was in his court to take the game but to autowin is just bad for the game because we the audience knew well in advance who won without even any struggle whatsoever. Indeed, the game is at a rather lame state at the moment, there are too many things that win games instead of just giving an advantage.

does someone else being better and more recognized than you really get you flustered enough to make a "haha funny joke account" and make a post like this?

The game itself was very fun to watch. I like the fact even a solid player like idra has room for improvement, isn't that why we are all here? Add your own definition of 'here'

All I see are lame excuses, but I think that suits a Idra-fanclub well. Fact is that results matter and Idra did not deliver. The golden window of opportunity is gone for Idra, the koreans are catching up and now it's an uphill battle for Idra, but I am sure we will see some more "My opponent did use cheese, he didn't beat me straight-up" and "zerg is underpowerd and imba" excuses very soon.

I'm sure the korean zerg are going to do much better, since they know all the magic strats that zerg have to counter everything.
Silly Idra, He should play 16 hours a day instead of 12.

Wow.. I feel like USA/Mexico just lost in the world cup or something...... Whatever IDRA FAN FOR LIFE <3

he should switch to P or T

All I see is some lame idiot trolling in a fanclub. Why are you even posting here if you just want to piss people off? Go be impressed by some 5-rax reaper user or some 4 gate all inner if you dont think IdrA performs well. And you are correct that results matter. IdrA nearly always brings good results and thats why people are a bit surprised that he didnt end in top 1-2 for once.
And whats this bullshit about the golden window of opportunity? Your statement is baseless. The skillcap in SC2 is alot lower than BW, and koreans were only better at BW since they had alot larger playerpool (there will always be a couple of geniuses in a large crowd). Do you think they are genetically better at videogames or something?

Nice to see IdrA losing.

Man, that third game if I had no bias was an amazing game to watch. I found myself on the edge of my seat chewing on the lid of my water bottle (bad habit that I do when I am nervous) and almost chanting different encouraging words through the internet to idra. So with that bias in mind that game was so hard to watch end, I felt all of that energy just dissipate in a split second. But I don't feel let down by you idra if you read this, you played great all tourney, great job and keep it up.

I was like NOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooo when I saw in match 2, 3 voids going towards his base, and all he had was like 6 roaches

You're pretty wrong if you think the Korean gaming phenomenon was all due to a larger player pool. There are so many factors contributing to the success of gaming in SC2 that go well beyond simple demographics.
I love IdrA, and I hate to see him lose, but just pointing out the inaccurate points in your post.

I would love to see Idra switch to terran and rape all the top foreign terrans in TvT just to prove a point to all the dumb people who don't realize what he's up against as a zerg player.
Oh and Idra haters should GTFO of this thread.

It is a sad day for all the Idra fans out here. But next season he will be back stronger and probably more active scouting :s
|
Damn, it was one hell of a match though. I am pretty sad to see IdrA get knocked out though.
|
hey idra. good job. I know you're the better player and you should have went to the top. but honestly i think losing in this manner is a good thing. It gives you stuff to work on.
tasteless and artosis were making the point of the protoss player constantly showing aggression, then backing up to keep your mind occupied so you wouldn't scout his hidden expo. All of this while faking a late third at the top? And game 2 with the fake robo?
that is some sick mind/meta game right there and i think losing in this manner, although lame, will definitely help you become a better player. I know it's only a matter of time until you develop a sense to sniff this kind of stuff out.
see you in the finals of the next big tourny.
you got this shit.

noooooooo.... zergs regularly losing/not making it far in high profile tournaments really disheartens us zergs... whyyyyyy qqqqqq im sad noooowwww
|
I was so sad to see this happen. Still a big fan, he did some great play that last game but I think he was a little shaken after game 2. That last game was close as well I saw he was producing ultras, but the voids forced caused it to be a wasted investment.
Hate seeing the zerg numbers dwindle
