seriously when is idra going to start casting more often? he's an amazing caster and he's only done a single tournament so far. it's really a shame. next to that, you have casters of questionable quality casting other stuff seriously idra, if you start casting small cups I would probably watch

But with DH, Assembley, fragbite, iron squid, homestory cup and tons of other tournaments starting their second season next year, there are plenty of oppurtunities. Not many events to cast, always very quiet that time of the year :3

I don't get why people exclaim that the scene is dead, as to prove or change anything. I find it utterly worthless and does nothing besides bringing a smug remark to those who still keeps the bw scene alive, like size and spectacle is the defining factors. What intent, is in this statement?

Correct me if I am wrong but aren´t there quite a few players who live off streaming on Afreeca? Does not that mean that they are able to live off playing Brood War? And there are also events that gather thousands? in a live audience right? That does not seem like an entirely dead game to me.

What intent, is in this statement? incontrol made a good point on state of the game yesterday. So many lost rivalries with Idra now gone, so much excitement is gone. I still watch a ton of sc2, but the game feels so empty to me now that Idra is out of competition. In a way it feels dead to me. Imagine a die hard vikings fan learning that the team is dissolving because they had a bad year. Football may never seem the same to them. As for me with sc2

As for me with sc2 i agree with this 100%, there is noone with a real lovetohate/love/hate whichever personality who is any good anymore and for this the scene just becomes stale. when idrA and Destiny left ive never felt excited for any sc2 match although i love watching it, i just dont seem to care if i miss a few games. Falling asleep to the last wcs finals i think says it all for me
