but i guess you'll feel a little bad for not getting as much exposure to the world's best players and thus might feel like you're giving away an opportunity on staying at the very top of the world.

Yes everyone cheeses but everyone in america knows how much you hate it...and are going to do what the koreans did and create builds to cheese you out. Idra, I'm totally disappointed... I know you've been in korea a long time and a trip home is what you want, but a long hiatus on Korea could harm your game in the long run. New builds and metas will emerge on the KR server that your just going to be SO far behind on ! Anyways I'm truely disappointed that you didnt wait till after this gsl!

People that only see IdrA as the guy that BMs others are kinda pathetic and piss me off. There's so much more to him.. He's IdrA and BMs people for being dicks from time to time and not: he BMs people and his name is IdrA. I love the way he analyzes his and other games, the way he plays in tournaments when he totally outplays his opponent in any possible way, I love him for streaming and how he treats his fanbase, and one of the most important things: I love him for his honesty. People that label IdrA as the guy that only BMs, no matter if they hate or love him for that, are no more than idiots. Its dangerous trying to make explanations for people that you dont actually know personally, unless youre his press officer. I like the guy I understand your a fan but please dont post as if you were sat there and know what his mood is from one hour to the next, its sycophanitc to say the least

Obviously the new maps are good and all for the players with team mates to practice with and us as spectators but there's only so far he can go with just Ret to practice against. I believe the new maps won't be in GSL March.

He didn't care for points, he often left dozens of games just by seeing who his opponent was (some guys would just cheese him everytime). //tx

He said that he was still going to use his korean ID to stay up to date on the meta game of Korea since it's so much more refined. Now he just doesn't need it to practice, since he'll be with his team....... ....and a 40+ year old man that watches porn on his big screen TV. lol

But then again it would have sort of make sense to fly him there for the beginning of GSL and to let him stay in the foreigners house or whatever. Listen to SotG, they explain it pretty well there. it WAS a good idea at the time. It is more worth while to say in the west now. oo AND LOL IdrA owning Clide/Zenio for their GSL Spots... Clide / Zenio will have to play MC / MVP So owned... like talk about a final "Fuck You"

In the end, this is actually a better move for him at the time being. He definitely has a better chance winning NA/EU tournaments than staying in the GSL where his chances rely on one tournament and even then I never thought his chances of winning were that great in the first place. More power to him. On February 16 2011 21:49 xtfftc wrote: I wonder what was the point of all the talk about an EG house in Korea.. Other players like Grubby aren't ready to make the move. The only 'stud' on EG right now is IdrA. The other guys need to start living up to their namesake by dominating tournaments and the way to do this is solid practice; however, that might be unlikely considering they spend most of their time coaching other players for pretty darn good money and other projects. I had the pleasure of watching Geoff coach last night and I really don't see why people are spending $100 for coaching sessions with these guys, but hey its their money and they can do whatever the hell they want with it. Like I said more power to them for making the money that they do. Coaching 4 hours a day at their prices can make a lot of cash within a year. Hell, I'm even thinking about coming back to coach some players considering how much these guys are making as a hobby on the side.
