His greater spire was at his third, Idra's bank was bigger than Symbols while he was 80 supply ahead. Let me break this down for you, this means that once symbol remaxes he'll have much less money then now whereas Idra only has to build 20 supply to max. Also, symbol was making corrupters and would not have broodlords in time. And the best part for Idra, Symbol wasted all his infestor energy on killing a base. Idra could hit symbol without infestor energy, as symbol was remaxing (remember 180 supply Idra vs 100 supply symbol), as he has corrupters that are useless vs roach/hydra/infestor. | ||
