IdrA should double expand here imo.

Also, looks like Patch is on KR.

Edit: Gave up vs a Protoss going by "BoxeR" after a botched Roach Infestor push into a choke.

I was half expecting one of the Simon & Garfunkel songs to drop off into dubstep halfway through. Anyways, always cool to see the IdrAlisk play while working on my homework. :D

I will never understand why Idra just quits in games. He lost one major engagement against the terran and just leaves the game. He still have 15+ mutas and was on four bases. Yes the terran was ahead at that point but play the game out for God's sake.

Sure IdrA ruined it for people, that's apparent. But what is not apparent, apparently, is that aLive didn't ruin anything - judged by the amount of(or lack of) flack he got. Bottom line is, they both did their best to dishonor the point of a show match which is to entertain the audience, yet only one of them gets heat. It's aLive's fault as well for being a complete asshole and all-ining just because he's too insecure to play IdrA straight up, to have that higher chance at the money. But that's not what a show match is about. aLive clearly proved with his play that he does not care a whit about the funs.

Had IdrA played the last 2 games straight up in his macro style instead of 6 pooling, he would have simply been all-inned or cheesed again and again, and nobody would protest against aLive. It's disgusting. I hate it.

I am sorry, I know this is the Idra fanclub and all, but seriously! Do you even belive this yourself? Not even the most diehard Idra fan could possibly, honestly think that Alive should get any shit for this and that he did something wrong?

Allin cheese......do you even know what that is? making 15 hellions out of 2 bases is an allin cheese according to you????

Tbh Idra did what he did and he has to live with that. It was very disrespectful to everybody and a huge disapointment, but dont blame this on Alive. It was not like he pulled all his SCV in a 2 proxy rax game or something.

If 400 $ is on the line I don't think you hold back just to show the fans some good games. It would be pretty ridicolous if Alive totally negated the fact that Idra is weak early game and instead went for a longer game where idra's chance of winning is bigger, just to please the fans. The results would become invalid beacuse they didn't do what would give them the best chance of winning.

I fail to see how Alive could be the bad guy in this incident. He did what he had to do and it payed off. Whether or not it's entertaining is irrelevant and also opinionbased.

My point is I'd rather watch two players trying their best to win so you can determine who's best. Whatching two people hold back against eachother is uninteresting to me.

Guess my eyes were playing tricks on me. Dunno why else he would go fast Corruptor to counter Phoenix, plus the Phoenix looked like they had huge range.

in my opinion all terrans do theyr part to shitty games, cause i see them so often "finish it fast" with crappy proxy-raxx/bunker rush/helion(+marauder) semi-allins, and these things just dont make good games imo.

edit: not rly theyr fault.. rather a race fault.

Tbh though, not everybody think that a 40min game were two players sit in there base, expand to 4-5 bases and then fight with maxed army to see how can rebuild faster, is fun.

Sure proxy chees etc is boring when it happens to often. But the point of a bo7 is to mix it up and have a exiting serie. 2 base play is not boring and most epic games comes out of semi allins or cheese that is held and then turned into a comeback.

Idra for example could for sure have made a comeback in that first game, sure the chance was small but bigger things then that have happend in sc2.
