It's one thing to lose while trying your best all the way through- but it's another to give up after two. Idra gives up on series after he takes early losses almost every time. He uses a really shitty strategy, such as a 6 pool, as his final losses because he feels it doesnt make him look as bad because it looks like he wasn't really trying. This is such a childish thing to do and brings me back to days on the school yard. You start beating someone at something and they just give up and pretend they are joking around to discredit your win, and make them feel like if they were "trying" they could have won. I think DeMusLiM as well as others show that if you go down 2-0 don't give up because coming back does happen, but apparently not for Idra because he never tries. This is proof repeated exposure to Dubstep melts your brain. The fact that you're relating this to a win on a schoolyard is ridiculous. Playing games on the schoolyard is to have fun. Obviously competition is involved and people like to win. But literally minutes after the game, people forget about it. I love how everyone says Idra doesn't try and such... He's been training in Korea to get better than the rest of the foreigners and compete with the top scale koreans. Also, everyone keeps saying Idra's mental state is so bad, but I disagree. I think he simply knows when a game is over and has no chance at coming back. That game against MMA was a complete fluke (killing his own command center) and Idra, out of the tons of games he plays, leaves a very very small percent he has a chance in. He just wants to get to the next game and play with an equal chance of winning. Or maybe he's just having a bad day? Don't tell me none of you have never just quit something because you were having a horrible day, whether it's not doing homework, being nice to your coworkers or just stopping practice for a sport early.

This is proof repeated exposure to Dubstep melts your brain. I don't think he 6pooled to make himself look better, I think he 6pooled because he just wanted to get it over with. Also, I kind of enjoy moments like this when the community bashes idra for being awful (even though an idra slumping is still better than 96% of the foreign progamers). Because a) It makes every match exciting as you don't know whether he will dominate or lose and b) When he finally starts consistently winning again it feels good to rub it in everyones face.

Won two and lost one. What? Perhaps you should stop watching him if you are going to overreact to every single ladder game.
