Good luck in Code A Round of 32, Idra!

Jk... but this is literally the hardest group IdrA could possibly have. Jesus Christo.

Nah. There's no Protoss in it. He at least has a chance against Lucky and Nestea. Replace them with MC and one of the other Toss and... Ouch.

If you replaced Nestea and Lucky with MC(tier 2) and ForGG(tier 4), that would be pretty impossible.

Nestea's zvz style isn't as great as it was with the current metagame. I've seen Idra beat nestea on ladder at least once quite comfortably. No MC, no forgg, so he will put up good games for sure.

I don't think Idra's group is that hard honestly... I know he constantly says ZvT is his better match up, but he is pretty damn good in ZvZ. I don't think it is an easy group, but I could see Idra getting to ro16 without being surprised.

Nestea has been proven very mortal recently. MVP remains the scary one, but idra may be able to practice a little with MMA to prepare (not saying they will practice together, but it is possible as the only other zerg in the house is in his group).

great group for idra, he can rise to the challenge for a macro terran like MVP, Nestea will macro game him and Lucky will cheese. No protoss, EZPZ.

Idra has to beat a Macro player, a falling zerg, and Lucky. People call it the group of death. I wonder if they've been watching starcraft. IdrA can definitely make it out. I don't even think his biggest challenge will be MVP or Nestea, It'll probably be MMA and Leenock, especially judging by his games against leenock at MLG providence, plus with MMA's playstyle
Well, C9 is the best right now

I think he has a good shot at all 3 players and advancing as one of the top 2. Obviously, Mvp will be the hardest so hopefully he can secure wins against Lucky and Nestea.

IdrA is extremely lucky to have Lucky in his group.

Now lets look at opponents IdrA couldve had to face in the other groups.

Group A: Jjakji- beat Leenock 4-2 , Sen-known for his zvz, Ganzi- mass hellions UH-OH
Group B: MC- Insert History here, Fin- hellions, banshees and thors.
Group D: 2 protoss + bomber
Group E: MMA-scary, Yugioh- *I'm Yugioh's big fan so i'm just biased*
Group F: sC(1 base all-in), Genius(scary pvz builds... carriers UH-OH), DRG( He is very very damn good) 2 protoss.
Group G: Brown - will push to PvZ lategame, Happy - Will Mech you to death, MKP- You think Marines are good?
Group H: Puzzle- solid. Keen- Anything can happen with this guy. 2 protoss.

He has said that he doesn't have any good Zerg practice partners in the Slayers house at the moment.
I don't think he stands much chance really but you never know.

Yes... MVP is special because he's a "macro player"

ROFL, MVP can play macro and have some ridiculous timings... See game vs Stephano at Blizzard Cup... I wonder if you have been watching Starcraft... Idra went 3-3 in WCG group and MVP won the entire thing... Look, Idra has a chance to take series off all 3 (you can say the same for all Code S players)... but Idra will definitely be an underdog in his group

Best of 3 guys, Idra will be far better in a BO3 system here. I have quite faith with him beating NesTea on ladder on multiple occasions, thats just watching his stream too. All be it he lacks training partners in SlayerS house for ZvZ he still has cella to help out with some tips coaching wise which is really good. And, he gets better everyday of playing ^_^

BTW. Did Idra stay in KR over xmas? or had he gone home and come back?
