He's already shittyfuck good right now and he can only get better there. GOGOOO IDRA FIGHTING. Because he has never been there right? Anyway, so sad that he leaves games so early, I know he knows better than any of us whether or not he still has a chance but... no Korean, especially in BW would ever leave a game without it being definitively over, to the point where I could get into their booth and play the rest of the game and win it. You don't think that having BoxeR as a coach plus being able to train with the entire SlayerS A-team is a bit different from practicing in a house of B-teamers and no real coach that he could understand? Don't get me wrong, I'd love for him to be a frikin SC2 Legend, but right now my hopes aren't high ![]()

Leenock could have finished him with just zerglings, let alone the 10 muta he had left to kill overlords, queens, etc. IdrA had no static defense.

He lost a queen and 6 drones, he probably thought he lost a few more than that, HE DID NOT REMAKE HIS QUEEN, he just made a ton of lings and tried to bust Leenock, IdrA had 7 banelings morphing and Leenock matched that amount plus he had a spine and 2 queens off of 2 bases, there was no way IdrA was going to do any damage, and remember guys, IdrA assumes his opponent doesn't make mistakes, and being that far behind in a ZvZ is terrible especially when your opponent is set up for mutas. Also, there's no point continuing to play and tiring yourself out when there's a very slim chance of winning. He probably thought he could reset in G2 like he did vs Puma. G2: If IdrA held on to that third he would have won, the gg was not premature at all, he only had pure hydra out against ling/muta and Leenock was 30 supply ahead.

It's a bit of a Catch 22. The only way for that to happen is for Idra to not enter tournaments. (Because that causes shitstorms) But Idra entering tournaments gives a chance to see him play, which is win.

I know he was behind on Tal Darim and Metal, but he wasn't out, his opponent just had a lead (perhaps even a strong lead) but strange stuff happens. IdrA had a huge lead over Nestea in Game 3 of their series, and Nestea just stomped him.

He may have under-performed at this particular event, which is disappointing. But I think we should acknowledge that he's improved a lot overall in the last few weeks (months) and look forward to his stay in Korea, rather than obsessing over his loss today.

It takes some time until the investment really kicks in and Nestea had a tech advantage. Also: Nestea was allready taking his gold, so I wouldn't say that it was an all in at this point. Even if Nestea would have retreated, his army was big enough to defend the gold, especially with his infestors. Even Artosis said that the best thing he could do now is sit back, take his gold and an extra base and just defend. But Nestea took the risk and won.
