Hmmm I have faith in Nestea enough to say that had Nestea been there, he would have won. and altho MC played more matches, he played them more spread out while idra had 5 games v boxer -> 3 long ass macro +intense games v bomber.

Great games overall! So happy to be a fan

I would have gladly waited while they gave IdrA a 30 minute break, or at least 15. I think that sums it up well. I think it was Artosis who said that MC had actually gone through more matches than Idra. While true, Idra had to make it through the two toughest Koreans in the tournament. That was an incredible feat. Had he not lost to MKP, I think he would have been in the final easily. yeah but from what i remember MC ended his games kind of quickly and had more break time. While idrA had series after series with epic long games

I'm not exactly an Idra fan, but wow, his ZvT has gotten so freaking good! Probably better than DRG's. Now he just needs to work on his ZvP.

I'm not sure anyone else knows this, so I'll post it.
There's no group stage in Providence. Because IdrA is #1 seed , he'll be seeded directly into the Winners Championship bracket Ro8.
So basically, he starts so far in he could win it all after winning 4 Bo3's. (or BoWhatevers, not 100% sure if they go higher in providence) But then again every Bo3 is against people of MC callibur or better, so it won't be a walk in the park. ^^

So fucking stoked to have IdrA back in GSL. I bet he WRECKS the competition.

This is the Idra that made me play zerg. Truly inspirational play, especially the Bomber series.

I think if he had won that last game against MC, he would have beaten STC and gotten the Code S spot
Oh well, next time maybe

Hmmm. I wonder if IdrA does really well in Code A (and maybe get to Code S), would he stay in Korea?

Part of me hopes he does so we could see him improve, but another part of me hopes he doesn't so we can continue to see him in every foreign tournament.
Decisions decisions!

I thought this was the best place to share this.

Idra never relies on zerglings when they are one of the scariest units in the game in mass numbers with nice upgrades. to beat mass stalkers (what MC used against him today), he can simply max on zerglings with adrenal and nice upgrades, 3-4 infestors with neural if there are colossi and NOT MORE than 10 roaches. no need to be on creep if there are adrenal glands and nice upgrades, however do not move out before upgrades finish. easy win against mass stalkers.
hope idra sees this. yea because he's going to take advice from a random comment on the internet over his own instincts and the advice of pro players that he has access to. Anywho, Idra is going to Korea soon and he has a Code A spot. Cant wait to see him tear through the GSL Has this been confirmed yet? I remember Idra saying a few mlgs ago that he wouldn't take a code A spot

Pretty sure he'll take this Code A spot. He said that then, because the reserved spots don't roll over and wasn't planning on going to Korea no matter what until November.

Well there's no possible way for him to get a code S spot without winning and mlg right now so pretty sure he will take the code a spot.

I just can't keep the grin off my face looking at the top 8 and seeing IdrA in 4th, in the midst of a ton of awesome koreans and above 4 of them. I would say that IdrA must be disappointed to a certain extent because he could have beaten MC and could have played in the finals, but he made mistakes that cost him the game which should not have happened. IdrA must consider himself on par with Koreans since he's played with them for a long time, so the distinction between Koreans and foreigners is not something that is part of his reality.
I will keep on hoping for IdrA to beat MC on a major stage in upcoming tourneys. IdrA hwaiting!

I remember Idra saying a few mlgs ago that he wouldn't take a code A spot he recently said that he's set to go to korea in december for three months =) I cant remember which video interview he said it in. He said he's going for primarily training, but would compete in GSL.

He said he was declining them because he had no intention at the time of returning to korea. When the house, or straining facility, was announced he said he would be doing code A if he managed to get a spot.
