He did a great job in this tourney regardless, and after his last three major runs there's no way any of his detractors can expect to be taken seriously. He's now the undeniable best foreigner outside of Korea, and he'll only get better when he's back there.

Another impressive run by Idra. Took out Boxer, Bomber, and Hongun before going down to MC, possibly setting the stage for Huk to take the whole tourney.

4th place ain't bad.

not to mention calling IdrA lucky instead of giving him the credit of being better than his opponent

I lol at people who talk shit about Boxer and I recognise that Idra's mistakes would have cost him the game against a player from Bomber's calibre (who is top 3 in the world imo) if it wasn't for some lucky engagements and snipes.

you also cheer on MC so I'm confused about where your loyalties lie

IIRC xtfftc was actually the one who originally started the fanclub before it got transfered over to Whole.

Besides, there's no rule saying you can't be a fan of two seperate players O.o

2 rivals so yeah you should probably pick one or the other.

Yes you do cheer for MC hence the reason why you post in his fan club as well

I daresay calling others out on who they are fans of is...

Never mind.

God just shut up, you are annoying as hell. He's a fan of MC and Idra, its not hard to be a fan of two players. They are rivals but friends too, you don't need to pick a side.

Idra vs Bomber was pretty awesome. I got so worked up after the first game and the in the third game I was actually getting frusterated with how fucking amazing marines are in the hands of a korean terran

Team EG is bawwwws. If only PuMa beat MC, then let Idra go play HuK instead of it working out this way haha.

He played well, no need to shit on his play. When you're as far ahead as he was, and have good control, you can continue amassing blink stalkers, it's an expensive composition to get.

Blink stalkers expensive? 125 minerals 50 gas is pretty cheap for a 3 base protoss. If MC gets a code S spot i bet he wont make it past the round of 32

gotta love fanboys like you lol.

Idra played pretty bad 3rd game u gotta admit that.

and Mass stalkers wouldnt do jack shit to you if MC didnt switch tech and did some nice harassments.

Not including that weird+stupid engage in the middle of the map for idra, losing all his army for almost nothing.

Props to Idra.Played great overall and really deserved where he is now.One of the best Zerg in the world out there for sure.

Fanboy? Hell yeah i am. Where did he tech switch besides getting 1 or 2 colossus. Rest of that was pure blink stalkers.

Do you think MC could just go mass Bstalkers w/o going Voidrays harass first ? then after that big engagement where Idra stupidly engaged for some reason really gave MC much more advantages against him.

All MC did was just capitalized it with mobility of mass Bstalker which is good when all the zerg units are scattered/running around the map

I'm no fan of MC damn it ^^ Since when is posting stuff such as "I'm hardly a fan of MC but he has it this time." (before playing Puma) or "I'd also like to apologise for what some of the Idra fans are likely to post here soon." (before playing Idra) makes you a fan of someone?

For the record, I don't like Huk either. Or MKP and Puma and DRG and so on..

This engagement by Idra was pretty bad indeed but he had pretty much lost the game after the cheesy snipe of the third, so he had to do something drastic. Which is why it's hard to be impressed by MC's transitions as he was under no pressure whasoever. Pretty bad game overall really; even Tastosis were struggling to hype it up.

IdrA had gone 4-1 in his pool, like HuK, but he had to win against Boxer, Hongun, Bomber and then MC just to face the winner of HuK vs Thestc, while HuK just had to win MKP and TheStc to be in the final. Guess what, IdrA + Show Spoiler +
lost against MC...

Eh, best foreigner is certainly debatable. There's no doubt that IdrA is a phenomenal player with an excellent showing this weekend, but he's (regrettably) not invulnerable. Many different players have taken him down, and the SCII scene is fluctuating enough that I wouldn't feel comfortable proclaiming a "best foreigner" at this time. There's simply too much change occurring too rapidly.

Unless you mean the best foreigner currently forgoing practice in Korea. He's got merit for that position, at least.

And on the subject of detractors, I think your position is a tad extreme. No one can deny results, of course, but IdrA does have weaknesses in his play. Some are based within the game, but the psychological stuff has haunted him before. Presently, he seems to have shaken it off, but I feel like saying he's conquered them entirely is too brash. The idiots and trolls bashing IdrA are indeed foolish, but I think you could present valid criticisms against his play.

I know I can't name a better foreigner outside of Korea. That's what he called him, and I agree.

I'm curious, how much do you base that statement on his results in Orlando?

IdrA won 4-3, factoring in the extended series. Pretty damn good play from both sides.
