Too bad for IdrA. I think if he'd gotten past MC he could have possibly won the whole thing. Still, 4th place based off of who he had to play is an enormous feat.

All of the overactive fanboys trying to stop their rage-induced tears while posting "prtoss r dum stalkers imba mc cheezing loser" are the thing that's making Idra's fans look bad in general. Greg had a great run, better than any other zerg, and you could say better than any other foreigner, since Huk can pretty much be counted as a member of the Korean SC2 scene by now. I, for one, congratulate Idra on getting a Code A invite, and am looking forward to seeing him back in the GSL. Maybe this time he'll be there to stay.

Not when you take 4 bases in awkward positions, no. If he had initially made Hydras in response to the initial void rays and then pumped roaches, he probably could have handled that, MC didn't switch into colossi until a little bit later. Regardless, this isn't the balance discussion thread.

He had zealots, sentries and high templars mixed in there as well, he only went pure stalker once he was massively ahead and had killed IdrA's army twice over.

He Didn't have 4 Bases when he lost his Third Btw just so you know. He Dropped his other base down at the closer Base Position when his 3rd was Sniped.

He didn't really have a reason to make hydras though. He didn't get enough scouting in, because it was basically impossible due to the VR's and blink stalkers. He assumed that MC would go for the collosus play (which he did), and hydras just melt so quickly they aren't worth it. The problem with his unit composition is that it relies on poor micro from the protoss. As long as the protoss can micro his stalkers decently (which is not hard), roach/baneling will never work. Perhaps infestors would have been a better choice.

quit complaining about him being fatigued, i forget where it was but idra said fatigue has never been an issue because most pros grind at least that amount of games everyday

You made MarineKing fight to the last marine for his win, you beat Boxer in a very solid way, you beat Bomber in also a solid way. This for me is a huge win in my book.
I look ansious to the time you'll spend training in Korea, because if you can become better than you've been so far, than there will be nothing more that we can ask from you.
And there is no doubt, that the ZvT you style you play, may be the best in the world right now.
It's a really long shot hopping that you may read this, but is definetly something that i think most of your fans think right now, and that you should know.

Besides, I can't stand MC :D I blame his abusive cheesy all-in-ish play for the problems the Protoss race has had recently and I think that he belongs in Code B.
