I mean, I like IdrA and I'm not bashing him or anything, but he's not the best foreign sc2 player at all. He used to be, without question, but not anymore.
There'll be a ton of improvement when he's been in Korea for awhile. But then prople will start calling him Korean so his accomplishments won't mean anything for the foreign scene. >.>

So, I slept nine hours ago and this thread explodes another 10 pages. I get excited, hoping Idra had done well in a tournament I didn't know about, and then I realize the 10 pages is yet another shitstorm started by trolls. This shit is getting ridiculous. Find something else to do besides trolling fanclubs on saturdays. Jesus.

i don't get why people hate on IdrA when he isn't doing shit horribly, losing in early rounds is inevitable, and no one is going to always win even if they are the best
and the amount is fanboyism is ridiculous, in terms of recent acheviements, IdrA is no where near some players, its mind boggling how people still defend him like he's the best player, he's good, he's very good, but not the best

As Greg himself said, I doubt we will see any good results before he have been in Korea for a couple months, and after Hots has come out. Until then I will keep facepalming at ridicolous losses, celebrate small victories, and figth trolls.

We need Idra to play Guilty Gear the greatest competitive game of all time. Games so balanced and hard to play that if you lose its just because you lost, no excuses.

Can't wait until IdrA starts winning again. It is fair to say that he is in a slump right now, but that is only because he used to be so good that others put him at really high standards. I mean even though IdrA, MC, Jinro, ect. are slumping for their standards, they are still all really good players. And IdrA gets the most attention because of his controversial actions. It is such a shame to see these minor things and bad tournament runs to get blown completely out of proportion. So true IdrA fans, please hold on for the long run. SC2 hasn't even been out that long, so we really can't judge the grand scheme of things.

He has played street fighter possibly with jwong that would be so cool to see them play each other. He could easily teach him how to play marvel not difficult game. Not that he should be spending time on any game but starcraft though seriously.

He placed 5th on IPL2 which was an all-foreigner tourney. He lost to mana and then 0-3 to Nerchio in the losers bracket, not exactly very well.
I'm very far from beign an Idra hater, I actually cheer for him because I like his attitude (when it doesn't hurt his chances of winning) and I admire his past skill, but calling him the best foreigner on September 2011 is just funny. Beign a fan doesn't mean to be blind, it means to be there and support even (or especially) at bad times.
Returning to Korea is the correct decision and he WILL be better again in the future.

I remember Idra when he started to play BW, a lot of people said bad things about him like he wasnt skilled and hes good only because he plays a lot.
He went to Korea and tried so hard, was the only foreigner to stay there for that long, even when he wasnt popular, Ret and Draco got all the attention.
The point is that now its sad to see him trying so little to win and giving up so soon, its like a whole different person
