Intelligent people came to the rescue, before your rude interruption. For your information, Day[9] certainly could "hold a candle" to many pros in tournaments of Brood War.
Out of a tournament, a good, available [so few >_<] replay was on Colosseum (II probably), top right (Day[9]) vs bottom right (G5) ZvP.
Day[9] had 166 EAPM, if it matters to you at all.
Rather than being some arrogant and extreme narcissist, he does openly admit that his level is well below that of top pros in SC2, which is a lot to do with practice hours. He does have a show to run, that he loves to run and wants to run for the community, as well as for his own enjoyment.
Sometimes some might say he goes over the top with jokes or mad impressions or phrases (how many times have you heard "Line 'em up!"?!) and he has said that he's not really so much like that in normal life (of course!) but then he clearly enjoys doing it in the show, so it's not superficial, nor narcissistic. What's the harm in being allowed to enjoy your own work?
You DID post in the Day[9] Fan Club. (◕‿◕)

I wouldn't be able to put it better. Very nice write up. ^^
