Thanks guys, I'll try to keep delivering results and hopefully manage to get further and further in tournaments during the course of 2013
TLO was unreal in this tourney and Dreamhack! Beating Nani shows he's ready for the next step in this tourney! Keep it up Dario!!!

Keep preparing well for your specific opponents. You know, that GSL recipe for success.

Dario is just so sick! let the titles come

Just saw the groups for WCS RO16. They put (almost) all the Koreans that (barely) survived so far in TLO's group so he can finish them
|
yeah I would say despite having two korean terrans in his group, I really like his chances of advancing. lets hope he keeps his hands steady and mind clear (maybe more difficult with this one being live, but I have faith he will at least make it to the next part of wcs, whatever that is called)
|
I think its a pretty good advantage to have 3 terrans in his group. He only has to focus on one matchup. GL TLO!
|
Sad that he won`t be streaming til the mid of next week but i am glad that TLO takes the WCS very serious.
I think that his chances are not that bad. First of all this still is a group stage so Dario should be allright :-) Second his chances against ForGG on ladder are always like 50/50 and against Strelok i think he should actually be favored a bit. MMA should be very tough.
|
The group is hard but doable. ForGG kinda fits him well even though he is really good. I guess him and MMA also tend to play a rather typical marines/mines type of style. TLO really should try to train a lot with Taeja on NA as he is like a improved version of the two. Against Strelok he needs to work on his antimech builds, but it`s nothing that`s imossible to do. And good decision to stop streaming for a while (and maybe to even avoid laddering). I mean in ZvT there are a lot of different routes that the Zerg can choose and there is also room for unorthodox swarmhost play. I actually think about subscribing his channel as it might give him a bit more freedom to cut his streaming in order to prepare well for tournaments.

in your stream you had so much trouble vs terra and especially vs forgg lately even in games far ahead still losing please try to get innovation ore flash as practise partner i am sceptical for advance if you only get some european practise partner and well this is obvious but i say it anyway you need more different builds they are all watching how you play and there are some cc first players in there so why not implement things like life´s 10 pool ore hidden hatch i also didnt see you using early roach attack and big baneling/ling early/midgame push

lmao.
for those who might be wondering: "Dario Wünsch @LiquidTLO 15h
I'm not going to be streaming until after the 14th, I'll only be playing ZvT with practice partners to prepare for my WCS group."

TLOs games against ForGG are nearly 50/50 bets all the time. You can`t really say that he has "trouble" against him. ForGG is just a really good player and that`s it.
And on your "different builds" argument - TLOs does this quite often. He uses early roach pressure quite often against his opponents and even really cheesy strats like 6-pooling. Didn`t you saw his games against Hasuobs (6-pool at Kaspersky) or Kas (Roach pressure, Game 3 WCS)? Or Game 1 against Naniwa at WCS (early ling pressure)?
|
If I remember correctly TLO had a few days were he lost a lot against Forgg but in the last days he usually won their "bo5 encounters" on the ladder.
I also don`t see why he needs Flash as a training partner. Lucifron, Kas, Demuslim, Taeja ... are on a similar level as Forgg
|
@ stylesdavis maybe i only watched those streamdays where he mostly lost vs forgg about the different builds i did watch all those games i just hope he keeps it up that way its a little bit tricky to play only terrans they can see the games and adept in the moment
@ irrational_animal its bo3 mostly you learn more when you play vs a better opponent and not all your 4 terrans are better than tlo and can play forgg style at least at his level

GOGOGO DARIO! i'm excited for next week
