Dear TLO please play in more daily/weekly tournaments. I know you have stated before that you don't see them as good practise but they actually are - maybe not so much for acquiring more gameplay skill but for having the routine in playing tournaments with waiting time, nervousness etc. You should not stop until you win a few of those - Your dedicated practise sessions don't give you as much if you still lose to a scrub in a semi-final of some Go4Sc2 because of other issues not related to gameplay praxis.

Your biggest fault is that you are trying to not get nervous at all and u play beastly until you do and once u get nervous it's over. No thai chi or anything will help you, u might be able to stay calm for longer, but nerves will ruin you games everytime they kick in, even if it's the finals. The right way of dealing with it is to learn how to deal with being nervous and for this, i think best thing is tournament experience, offline and online stuff, anything non ladder. Some people have ladder anxiety, if they played ladder A LOT, they would eventually stop being as nervous as they were, just cause of the experience the body adjusts on his own.

Tlo guys above are right. Try to play more in tournaments. When it'll be causal for you than it'll be much easier to control the nerves. Maybe not totally but significantly. Very nice gameplay lately. When it comes to Elfi and cannonrushing.... heh... its hard to stop. Can you try to fake trying to defend and tech + upgrades quickly? Idk if it is possible on this level but seen it few times already when 7 muta hit squad knocks to toss door in 8min mark killing most of the drones and from that time game maybe can be won.

dear TLO,
regarding your problem nervousness you got already several posts with diverse advice: thai chi is good or not, accept nervousness or ignore it etc.
i might give some suggestions as i am (a kind of) professional in terms of treating problems with mental states:
- it is never a mistake to learn to reduce the inner stress. there exist a lot of different ways like thai chi, yoga, progressive muscle relaxation, autonegic training or others; they all work well, but it is important to find out which method fits to you, with which one you feel comfortable with.
- the nervousness you describe has some parallels to aspects of anxiety. here exist different well-established forms of treatment as for example confrontation, a method of treatment in cognitive behavioural therapy. please do not get me wrong, your described nervousness ist no illness or disorder, but causes difficulties to reach your aims. so in my opinion it could be worth a try to look out for a coach to learn how to handle that. important is to look for someone with a good and professional education (for example psychological psychotherapist), because there are too many mental coaches out there without a solid background. in addition it should be someone you feel cofortable to work with in a confinding atmosphere. working with a coach might be easier in your native language.

i was watching your replays long before u were signed by Team Liquid. At this time my favourite E-Sports Club was TL.
When u both came together, my world as a E-Sports fan was perfect. After years i decided now to register, in order to write u a comment:

Awesome play in your ladder series against Vortix. A few games came close to being art. Don`t be too critical on yourself though, you look really tedious on your stream. You made a huge step forward lately, had a minor success last weekend and gotten a lot of respect from the community and other pros. The times were people considered you as the gimmicky and overhyped guy are certainly over. So just keep things rolling, enjoy yourself and victories will come, rather sooner than later.
