wow! that's what I was looking for like sooooooooo lonnnnggggg!
I will definitely put my eyes on this and maybe I also can make my starcraft AI bot!! I was also looking at https://www.facebook.com which is quite helpful as well.

Nice medium article. The outcome of marine vs marine is very much the expected one of course. The problem of how to extend this to more complex compositions an interesting one. Marines vs Zealots and Stalkers probably can't be extrapolated (at least not linearly) from Marines vs Zealots and Marines vs Stalkers. And that's without considering the other variables like positioning.

actually all the combinations Steven tried were linear, you can't extrapolate a combo of units from two separate tests of those units, but you can test the combo.

regarding positioning, that could be factored in as a test but things are rarely that exact anyway, you would typically avoid a fight that is close to the boundary of success/failure
