Let's not kid ourselves, we both have know for a long time already that there's no value in owning those titles when it comes to Hyuna.

The title of 'amazing dancer' stems from her own company's marketing ploys when 4Minute was in its infancy, combined with the public's obsession for finding a possible heir to Lee Hyori's legacy. She had the buzz because she was an ex-member of the Wonder Girls, she did very well with her own solo single 'Change' in a time where a solo for a (non-ex) girl group member was rather uncommon, was part of a very successful variety show and appeared as a guest on numerable other shows and every big one... her career was going through the roof, and you couldn't deny her anything.

But if you really looked at it, she never was that amazing of a 'dancer', and seems to have earned that role more through seizing a series of fortune opportunities than anything else, and the public was too eager to label her anything. The role of 'rapper' never went further than a description of what it should've been. Most of all, she never showed more than an ounce of effort in performances, unless it was her part.

I always loved Hyuna as a variety show personality... it's a shame she quit those gigs a long time ago; I can't say I've ever been a fan of any of her other work.
