SM usually tries to do something unexpected and against the grain. This really sets them apart from the other rookie girl groups by highlighting their strong vocals in a very ballsy way. RV doesn't really seem like a group focused on winning big at this exact moment, but rather a group that will try to surpass SM's other girl groups in terms of their musical legacy a decade down the line.

Eh.. I'm pretty sure SM's #1 interest is to sell digital downloads and albums to rake in $$$ Pretty sure no one will even remember this song in 5 years

Of course SM wants to get filthy rich, but it's more about how and over which timeframe. While I know nothing about Korean sales demographics, I think most would assume that promoting a ballad wouldn't net the highest short term gains for SM as opposed to doing a catchy song.

Only groups who release promoted ballads are......Davichi because they are only two members and they can actually sing(plus its kind of their thing since they don't dance, atleast not anymore, they rely more on vocals then any other group since they don't dance/do variety and shit). I hate it when people sing ballads and its obviously not live and they are terrible at singing for promotion too (looking at u T-ara). Something cringe about it.

That's probably the most back assward things I've ever read. Like a guy that goes around calling himself by his old gamer tag is going to have the wherewithal to run an entire prostitution ring and skirt the law. He couldn't even properly manage his own project group or even keep his homepage up and running. But if it was him, that does implicate Crayon Pap being in his flesh retinue. Also, 12,000 USD for Shin Ji? Shit, I'd pay a quarter of that just to see how many noraebang machines I could get her to break and get unbeatable scores on those karaoke apps.
