Soompi put together 2 videos of all 2015 debuts girls/boys. Kinda ridiculous how many there are. 53 girl groups and 46 boy groups.
Seems like there might be some hidden gems in there, though most of these groups won't release a 2nd song for sure.

"Big Brain" (around 9.00 boygroups) what a group name..

Feels like Monsta X / Seventeen / iKon / Day6 are the ones who are going to be successful for male groups. And mainly because they are just from the big companies (Seventeen is from the smallest and that is Pledis).
Bastarz / VIXX LR doesn't count since it's just subunits

For girlgroups it's like GFriend / CLC /TWICE
April / Oh My Girl is a bit on the edge, dunno if they will make it.

Kpop bandname generator:

Eventually only the groups with the largest marketing engines/investment/connections will make it.

After a year i'd wager 5 of em will still be relevant.

I gave all the songs I thought had some potential a shot and actually some of them (like 10) weren't that bad. Gonna have to listen to them some more before I decide if I wanna DL that stuff.

This one was probably the one that stood out the most to me that I hadn't heard before. Really nice flow n stuff.

Allow me to turn back the clock on the AG persona and entertain a perverted thought for a second. Having all those girl groups debut is good for the creep in us. If for example you tried to get in touch with someone in SNSD, youd have no chance, they getting blasted by msg they have no time to look at them all, yet alone respond, and even if they do the chance of you getting in touch with them a second time is as good as winning a lottery. But with the new groups, its almost like, they are competing for you. They are desperately seeking new fans. I would venture that most of those groups have twitters, and probably a whole lot of em are in the single thousands of followers. So if you give them a little attention, they are very likely too respond to you. In fact if you are very impressionable you may be able to communicate back and forth. It is the absolute only chance ever to get close to an idol as a fan. When they are unknown, when they are desperate for fans. Not speaking korean obviously hurts but im sure most of those groups wil have one or two English speaking girls. 53 groups lets say an avg of 5 members thats 165 and if we assume 5% hyorc tier waste, that would still leaves a lot of qts looking for ther eknigh tin shining armor. If this was me off 6-7 years ago there is a good chance i would twitter spam every single one of those slutes thast 16 and up. I would of course pretend to be the super normal, totally innocent, never played with my penis type... but make no mistake about it i would be ready to send dick picks at a moments notice.

Crayon Pop were complete nugus and had like a couple of hundred followers or some shit. And in this thread we talked with members every day until they started going on music shows and they started gaining a bigger fanbase. Anyone else remembers this?

I have a notification from SoYul from aug 4:th 2012 on my twitter. They were just doing those guerilla performances and we tried so hard to help them get on a music show or even GomTV for Starcraft performances. Which involved mass spamming Mr Chae's twitter lmfao and he replied something like: "WTF is going on.. I will investigate Crayon Pop"

Of course as they grew bigger it was harder and harder to get a reply on Twitter and then they fucking exploded with Bar Bar Bar and no reply was ever gotten again.

Crayon Pop clearly owes all their fame to KMD.

Teen Tops new song

pretty good, been a while since I liked a Teen Top song. The rap felt a bit out of place though.

Also you guys are weird ._. I've never looked at any idol that way

Level of creepiness is more like 2012, too.

I think it's weird because to us outside of Korea most the groups are about the same in that people in our area haven't heard of them but they are idols to us. So even the ones that aren't very famous in Korea still feel like stars. I'm sure I could get tweets back from small US artists too but it wouldn't seem like a big deal because it feels like they're small if I've never heard anyone here talking about them. They aren't celebrities, just musicians trying to succeed. Really I'd think it's the same for those smaller Kpop groups but over here I can't really perceive them differently than most the bigger ones, with the exception of an SNSD or something.
