If the public insults their talent, they are certainly are not ignoring them.
To send them to Japan, that requires they have something marketable. K-pop kickstarter is open to the international market and there's less than 300 interested parties on the internet. So what is there plan supposed to be in Japan with a fraction of <300 interested parties? No one is really going to care enough to throw a fuss if they're made to show off a little butt. No one is going to care if they go kawaii mode since they've already hit the Best By date.
Man, that is ridiculously awkward and discomforting to watch. And I've tried watching a Taeyeon performance. JYP setting precedence that his company is willing to state "Did you know? Dokdo is not Korean territory." if he feels the need to attract more Japanese money. Like what, all of a sudden the fifty cent army is going show their acceptance of the apology and proceed to buy Twice albums?
And yes, I do know that Dokdo is in fact Korean territory, OnGameNet told me so.

He had no choice eventhough its disappointing. JYP vs China, I think not. JYP has too much at stake here, and I would imagine chinese market is pretty big for them with MissA and all. I can only hope this doesnt affect Twice as hard because it has hit Tzuyu like a truck. What a devastating event for her.

Then again, I suspect I have no right in commenting on the situation and how it was handled given my country forced Psy to apologize for, years ago, having adverse feelings towards a few of our soldiers raping and/or killing a young girl and getting out of the situation without any issues. Yet somehow my fellow countrymen committing the most vile of desecration to, not our nation's colors but the very representation of, our flag at such a rate that it's been deemed the norm is something that doesn't require apologies.
