I'm not justifying her actions (Craton is right, it's more than a bit irresponsible to raise a kid doing missionary work in a country that's not exactly sanitary), but she will be doing good work while there. I don't think it's necessarily a selfish decision, just a very misguided one. While it seems to be made with good intentions, she doesn't seem to be making it with her obligations in mind. So, irresponsible sure, but not selfish imo.

I'm pretty sure there are other organisations in Haiti who handles that stuff. The main mission for a missionary is prio #1 #2 and #3 for them to preach the bible and spread God's word. She even says so herself. Anyway might be going a bit offtopic from the whole music thing and of course she can do whatever she wants I just feel it's shitty.

But still yeah that's not the point. I mean, I'm not a huge WG fan in the first place so it doesn't affect me that much, but I could see how fans would be put off by it.

Once you've popped a sprog your idol days are over. I doubt many people expected her to return to wondergirls. But people are pissed because she renewed her contract with JYP and is going off to do something not very useful. Haitians don't need religion, they need real food aid, medical aid and stuff

Don't think her going to Haiti is wrong but signing a contract with JYP knowing that this is something you had a great chance of going off and doing doesn't seem very responsible. Either way I don't think this affected the future of WG very much.
