How in the world is Yoona gonna provide for her and Lee Seung Gi's family? The world is rotten. And please tell us more of your extremely in depth knowledge of Korean media. You are right that SM gave Exo and Shinee a lot of great songs last year, and yeah they could have given SNSD a better title track but ya know shit happens and the song is still good, it just doesn't stand out at the moment and people were expecting more. I am waiting for the MV and performances to pass full judgement. Well im korean an i visit naver an nate( two of the most popular sites) and i rarely see any snsd after hoot's release. Some snsd exposure was something like taeyeon instagram or snsd instagram with yoona on that prime Minister drama but that drama failed anyways. Either ways, korean media was focused on another one of those big groupsfor a while like naeun, yura, and other big groups. Yeah i think i made mistake in saying they won little but honestly does music bank even do anything? Its like gving these pointless awards to a big name corporation and recycling it and them givin it to another big group... Koreans dont even mention these wins anymore in big media sites. Anyways girls day and all the girl groups what they want cfs, exposure, drama time, variety shows. Snsd didnt really get any since their songs were not that good

I enjoy listening to kpop (over other music) when I don't understand much of the lyrics, i'm sure there's a good reason for it but I can't put my finger on it. They do have hard sounds, but some of the sounds like ㅂ= b/p, ㄷ= d/t ㄱ= g/k are neither the soft, nor the hard, it's somewhere in the middle most of the time. ㅋ= K, ㅌ = T, ㅍ= P are often used for the hard sound equivalent. I also find Japanese pleasant to listen to, but most J-pop songs don't really draw my attention.

The way I've heard it Japanese and Korean aren't really in any language group per se, but share the most similarities with each other. Not enough of a linguist to really know why they aren't classified as being in the same language group but there you are I guess

Also the 2NE1 album leaked, listening through it now. It's not bad, but nothing really jumped out yet. Come Back Home is the promo track I think? It's pretty decent.

By the way, is it smarter from a marketing point of view to release a MV along with the release of the album, to hold on to the release of the MV while the album has been released or to release a MV prior to the release of the album tracks...? Thoughts...?

The korean language has floathing vocals which makes the singing very pleasant. Korean is a very unique language, the way they use particles is not used by any other country (you might find small similarities in Mongolian).

Korean and Japanese are distinct languages, they're comparable like Greek and German (that are under the Indo-European language group). Though the inclusion of Japanese and Korean under the Altaic language group is disputed, it's still generally accepted.

Thoughts...? One would think you'd want to release it shortly before the album was released or at the same time to drum up attention. Seems like releasing it late is just a wasted effort. MVs are made at a loss, so it's pretty much just marketing.
