Trap kpop...lol It'll be like all the tryhard Korean "gangsta" rappers all over again but 10x more hilarious. Especially if others pull a T-ara and get trap artists...would love some kpop-cross-BRICKSQUAAAAAAAD action something like this but with kidols On May 28 2013 12:26 LosingID8 wrote: make that 3 "wtf did i just watch" videos... i'm not feeling the artistic direction that YG is taking over the past 2 years or so. none of the new bigbang/GD, this CL solo, epik high, etc have been to my liking. maybe i'm just reminiscing but i prefer the old YG with early big bang, 1tym, taebin, se7en, wheesung, big mama etc better. Definitely not just you, especially on the last part I've been feeling that way for awhile.

Koreans don't know real hip hop -_-

The mistake isn't who they paired them up with, it's the image they were trying to sell in the first place.

I have just found that the last 2 years, kpop has been absolutely amazing for me: getting into the culture, looking at all of the dances, and the production qualities of the videos and the catchiness of the songs were unlike anything I had ever experienced. This year, I honestly can't think of any stand out songs ,any stand out artists, and honestly it is getting harder and harder to listen to kpop....even some of the other songs that I used to enjoy , I don't enjoy as much now. I was just trying to figure out the cause: A) Am I just getting over the genre? B) Is quality actually going down? C) Is there actually a limit on how many times you can watch kpop before it starts getting repetitive I don't know how to describe how I'm feeling atm, but it sums up into this: Kpop was such a huge part of my life for 2 years, and now it has almost gone out of my life completely and I couldn't care less...how did it happen so quickly....and does anyone else feel like they're fading away as well? (I've read the last 4 pages so you obviously don't have to answer ![]()

I also agree that I miss the old YG stuff. I liked Big Bang, Se7en, and Taeyang's solo stuff that felt more R&B and hiphop, as opposed to whatever they're doing now. Beyond the music, their looks/styles have gone a bit weird too. I feel like they're trying to be edgy and different, but so much that it's just coming off as weird. To be fair, it's been hit or miss, with some of the ideas coming off pretty well, but I sometimes wish they would go back to a simpler look once in a while. A balance of both would be nice.

Song still sucks ass and it's probably the only k-pop song that actually gets worse the more times you listen to it. But I only think it's sucks because I hate SM, right? lol

Can't keep up with most releases from this month and the last, although most title tracks seem good to me (4minute, Rania, Girls Day, Nine Muses, Secret, T-ara). For T-ara, I can't help (as probably most people) but feel like they're being exploited by Chris Brown and co. That Vegas fan account paints such a sad picture. Although at least Dani appears to be a decent kid.

Same was true of Sherlock. Makes you wonder why SM bothers/why they don't tell/force music companies to shoot those parts from the front.

GD's solo album were all amazing songs except for Crayon and One of a Kind and he chose those as title tracks ~_~ The light at the end of the tunnel is the hopefully soon released Taeyang album. I hope he goes back to his hiphop/R'n'B roots and puts his weird taedaddy/youngbeezy persona to rest man, I MISS GOOD GUY TAEYANG xD http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.de/2013/05/same-old-t-ara-performs-at-palms-pool.html

It definitely seemed to have a lot of similarities with GD's recent stuff, i.e. One of a Kind, Crayon and Michi-Go, but wasn't as good IMO. I think that CL going hip hop like this was a good idea, but the song just isn't very pleasing to the ear and isn't catchy at all. agree on that. it's like gd crayon in a way. and that one sample reminds me of harlem shake and then they even add some dubstepish stuff in the end. i dont know. i general think that trend in kpop, to put in as many different styles in one song as possible, needs to stop.

Rest of the choreo was just your average boy group stuff. Song still sucks ass and it's probably the only k-pop song that actually gets worse the more times you listen to it. But I only think it's sucks because I hate SM, right? lol This always bugs me about music shows, why do they cut and pan so often? I don't know how the lighting is going to work for WOLF choreography, but hopefully it'll be a silhouette like lighting in the beginning, it would really look nice with the beginning choreo.

I am awaiting the day DB5K come together(It will happened) or the day a company can bring out a boy or girl group that with similar talents like DBSK/JYJ.
