I'm sorry but I just can't understand how you can say that no one gives a fuck about anyone else here and how literally nothing good comes from this thread. I have found so much music from this thread that I never would have heard of because it was completely out of my typical taste, because other members cared to share tips and playlists. Add MV's, live performances, random videos, translated videos, translations, dem photobombs and sometimes some actually chill discussions. Maybe people don't like reddit and would rather find stuff here because they are a part of the TL community and not reddit? So instead of punishing everyone else by removing this thread maybe you should just leave? Anything else would be really selfish. | ||

Some valid points about K-pop being brought up. One of the things I enjoyed most about K-pop was how different it was from the music scene in the west. Now that I've listened to it for a relatively long time I find myself liking fewer and fewer songs, especially the standard ones. Most likely the songs are just as good (or bad) as when I first started listening, but the novelty has worn off. The market to me feels heavily oversaturated as well, there are so many groups and songs that I can't even find the will to listen through much of the music anymore. For instance, I still haven't even listened to the Shinee album, and I've had that on my to-do list for quite some time. In any case, every once in a while a good song is released, so it's all good in the end. TL, DR: For me the novelty of K-pop has worn off, causing me to be more picky about songs. #Edit If the KMD were to be deleted I would be quite sad, since I get a lot from this thread. So much music and live performances that I would never have found by myself are posted here quite often. Occasionally, as Gosi said, there are good discussions. In addition you have people like Gosi, carrying on after Fox116 and Seditary, linking pretty much all the music show performances. As well as people like Kaiwa contributing with the Seditary generator and Kimoleon and NicksonReyes providing translations. Sorry if I misspelled any name or forgot anyone, it's quite late here. I appreciate this thread a lot, and I hope that I'm not the only one. | ||
