CCM said, "We're flustered at the label, as well. We think there was some mix up and it happened because the concept of the concert was different. It was something promised from the beginning while we were talking details on recording 'Countryside Diary' with Chris Brown. Even the label won't know what really happened until after the American promotion team arrives on the evening of the 29th." They added, "We were told that they'd be opening for a concert, but it was actually more like a festival-type event. It's true that Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa planned the concert. The video is of their first performance. In their second performance, we heard that Chris Brown came out to introduce T-ara to the crowd." Source Dat backpeddling

Just based off that I already have high hopes that this album will be a lot better than their last. That mini-album wasn't a proper follow up to how great of an album Fiction and Fact was. Though I just remembered that the first thing they teased off the mini-album was Midnight, then they went on to promote Beautiful Night anyway which is a much worse song I think, though neither song is bad they both could have been a lot better of tracks.

Oh I had suppressed One of a kind and Crayon. Can't decide which song is worse out of those two and the latest one that I can't even remember the name of. One of a kind was one of the most... dipolar albums I've heard. Half the songs were really bad and the other half was pretty great. Missing you was actually one of my favourite songs of 2012. The whistling, melody and chorus is so catchy.

Outsider has a lot of good songs, here are a few. + Show Spoiler + He was supposed to make a comeback a few months after he was discharged from the army last year. But I haven't seen anything about him since they released a teaser photo in January from the set of his music video..

So either they knew what it was and horribly misjudged their market or they didn't and don't know how to communicate with people they're partnering with/agree to do shit without knowing what it is first. And either way they still fucked up thinking that the Chris brown/wiz Khalifa crowd would be down with kpop.

It definitely seemed to have a lot of similarities with GD's recent stuff, i.e. One of a Kind, Crayon and Michi-Go, but wasn't as good IMO. I think that CL going hip hop like this was a good idea, but the song just isn't very pleasing to the ear and isn't catchy at all. I also agree that I miss the old YG stuff. I liked Big Bang, Se7en, and Taeyang's solo stuff that felt more R&B and hiphop, as opposed to whatever they're doing now. Beyond the music, their looks/styles have gone a bit weird too. I feel like they're trying to be edgy and different, but so much that it's just coming off as weird. To be fair, it's been hit or miss, with some of the ideas coming off pretty well, but I sometimes wish they would go back to a simpler look once in a while. A balance of both would be nice. Monster wasn't bad, I actually loved it, but that's pretty much it as of recent. I'd definitely agree that YG's direction is strange (at least to us here at the KMD thread). My big quarrel is GD's tracks lately. Crayon and One of a Kind and his other recent track are so terrible I wonder why people are even supporting that direction (referring to YT). Just my opinion but Heartbreaker was way better than all three of those combined. Now CL has some weird shit going on too with the YT video being praised. Is the YG fanbase really that "brainwashed" and just willing to support YG artists despite this series of bad music releases? Or do they actually like this type of music? This is something I've wanted to ask people here since GD's Crayon, but I guessed I would have gotten answers like "YG train too stronk" or something like that, but with more and more songs like Crayon being out there I thought this was a good time to bring it up.
