Yuri: In the case of this song, they were reactions that I expected, so it wasn't a big surprise...(talk about her cold)...Because I expected it, it was ok. This song has a lot of different tempos and many fun elements. YHY: It's diverse. Yuri: The more I hear it, the more I think that it's an appealing song. And by trying out a new transformation, it feels good and exciting. Performing it is fun every time. But we can say she hates it and said it was a failed experiment if that's what you're into. Apparently staying consistently in the top 10 on digital charts for a month, getting positive reviews from western media, and selling as many albums in one month as the 2012 #2 album sold ALL YEAR is a failed experiment.

Change of topic; been listening to Shinee's new album. A lot of the songs felt like only 99% from being a hit. A lot of the songs feels like it was just missing a little something that would make it something special. Anyone else think Runaway sounds like JYP's No Love No More?

I was standing at the front left corner of the stage. Its hard to express the feeling of seeing rainbow jisook and hyunyoung doing the tell me tell me butt dance at point blank range. The rainbow fan who was standing next to me shared his view in broken english: "She make pants happy." Shinee was in a different league to the rest today. Most of the artists look mechanic and practiced but very distant when they perform. Shinee however has real stage presence and when they performed the studio was really electric. 2nd song beautiful is much better than the title track. I was watching the new rookie band Idolize prerecord their debut song. They looked like they hadnt slept in a month and were about to throw up. But the song is quite good. Also cheered some for nine muses after seeing the documentary last week..

Seriously just go back to when IGAB came out, lots of people disliked it. Also, what bold new insight? I can't agree with someone else's opinion? This is a kpop discussion thread. What else is there to talk about other than kpop and the idols themselves? This isn't politics or some sort of science. Edit: Either way I'm done, no reason for me to say anything else. I think a lot of the miscommunication here comes from you seeming to not be a very frequent reader of the KMD. I'll try to elaborate on why exactly Jarzai might have been tempted to post such an opinionated, sarcastic post right after your original post.+ Show Spoiler + On February 24 2013 15:42 EscapingJail wrote: To be fair IGAB is pretty terrible, and this is coming from someone who has just recently listened to most of SNSD's discography. 1. As you said so yourself, I think it's very clear a large and vocal group of people do not like IGAB so you restating that as if we could have forgotten it somehow comes off as rather silly. 2. You say "coming from someone who recently listened to SNSD's discography" as if it's some kind of unique trait that puts you above everyone else. This is is also interpreted as troll-bait because you are saying that to a group of people who have literally spent hours doing SNSD related things every day for the past few years. 3. I think with exception of The Boys (and perhaps including) we sones defend every song equally hard. There have also been much much greater arguments and anger in this thread before. By saying things like "I've never seen so many people get that mad.", it makes you seem incredible new to this thread and therefore it is mildly annoying to be told "This is a kpop discussion thread." by you. 4. "To be fair IGAB is pretty terrible" is honestly not fair at all because many people here enjoy the song and you have no grounds or reasons to insinuate that your opinion on music is somehow more valuable than our own. Again, it was a rather strong and unusual statement that Jarzai made and was probably not made with entirely pure intentions either. Although he did at least make an effort to say that it was merely his opinion that "everything else should just go in the trash". Fox116, thanks man for your efforts. I'm sorry I just noticed the seditary-generator was offline again. I've been having some issues with the server and had to reformat it a couple of times. My bad However, with the end of our Fox116 music posts I want to make a suggestion for the future of music posts. Community Assisted Music Posts Currently I'm thinking about creating a fully automated AI that makes the music posts for us. There are some limitations to this obviously which is where the community assistance comes in. I'm not quite sure how I would recognize if a stage is a Goodbye Stages for example. I would make a small bot that grabs the artist list from the music show's website and posts a new empty post in here while it searches youtube for the correct videos. If for some reason it makes a mistake there will be a link in the spoiler "Report incorrect / deleted video." which will take you to a back-end on my server that allows you to remove the video and/or enter a correct video. This process will last about 3-4 hours per music show after which it will close and keep the final post in its current state. Now, obviously there are negative effects with this idea. The obvious one: community griefing, and I have no idea what the TL policy is on bots posting content. I would just like to hear some opinions, and all of this is just an idea spinning in my brain right now. If anyone feels like becoming the new Fox116 you should probably check out my previous project on this. The Seditary Generator

EDIT. I suppose we were typing our posts out at the same time. ^^ Obviously I'm not a whole part of the problem but I'll make an effort to quit acting like I have down syndrome any time something happens, but if Sones try to change can we cut down on some of the SNSD trolling too? Maybe a little bit of fanaticism.... + Show Spoiler + @dystopia Naw, I get what you're saying.

I think both songs are amazing and I like them equally but while watching the Beautiful performances I have found myself thinking that it would go just as well or better as a title track. With how well things are already going for this comeback it just makes me more and more excited for the comeback in April. Crazy that we aren't even out of the first week and you can already get hyped for another amazing comeback so quickly.

On February 24 2013 19:58 Jarzai wrote: Obviously sarcasm doesn't translate well over the internet, but yeah I wasn't being serious of course I like other Korean music, SNSD might be my favorite, but I like other things too, I'm just not that vocal about it. After seeing "I Got a Boy is trash" for like the fifteenth time, and this particular time almost two months after release, it's just kind of annoying, we get it, you guys don't like it. My post was unnecessary and was quite honestly stupid, just because someone said they didn't enjoy something I like doesn't mean I need to make a post saying that something that someone else likes is bad. So I guess from now on I'll just try to use this as less of a place for SNSD and more of a place for all Korean Music. I'll just go be a fanatic on r/snsd.... EDIT. While I could see why this would be intolerable for an SNSD fan, I thought it was quite clear that the dude posting this wasn't much of a kpop fan/did not read the thread regularly, so couldn't be expected to know that this topic is quite tired on KMD. I know I post into some long-standing KMD threads. If it was like me or wei or someone randomly saying IGAB is shit the response would be warranted but that dudes post is similar to the kind of posts we'd get a year ago of some dude saying "yo I heard this dope korean song" then posting like Again and Again or some shit. This isn't meant to attack you or anything(cause I just reread it and saw how it might be taken as such), just saw that sentence and felt like commenting.

Lol please. If you were to give that exact same song to another rookie group as their debut song, would it stay consistently in the top 10 charts, positive reviews from western (lol) media outlets and selling as many albums in one month as the 2012 #2 album sold all year? Nope. They hadn't had a comeback in over a year and a half and this comeback was mega hyped up. Coupled with the fact it's SNSD and you've got the answer to why they got those achievements. Anyway I'm done talking about IGAB. I like it (like I've said multiple times) but it's clear people want to defend SNSD's reputation to the absolute brink. Found the beanie and ordered it from eBay, woooo haha. e:
