Guys, is it weird that I don't really find Hyorin that attractive just face-wise? I usually prefer Yuri-Yoona'ish and Taeyeon's look, but something is off about Hyorin. As in not too long-faced or eyes are a little bit unusual, maybe too big in proportion? She just seems much older in comparison to other kpop females.

No, its not weird. Everyone gets attracted to different people, I would find it weird of every single person in this world had the same taste in looks

You might not find Hyorin attractive, but others do, and thats ok.

Ah, thank you guys, I'm sorry if I came out a little bit insecure, I just had a little tough time understanding why they were so anticipated/hyped when they seem a little bit mediocre\try-hard. I guess curves are pretty cherished among guys xD

Hyorin is hit or miss for most I think just because she doesn't have the standard "idol" look.

There's hype about them because their songs and MVs are usualy very good. And Hyorin does have an incredible voice. It's not like they're talentless dolls.

Yep. Everyone is just obsessed with the curves, dat body and dem body rolls in Ma Boy. Certainly has a nice feeling to watch but they are so overrated.

Well most kpop idol raps aren't even that good, they're all around the same level, just each with their own style.

Soyou's got really nice vocal, it's a shame they don't give her as much vocal work as they do Hyorin (understandable).

Dasom just awkward giraffe in the whole group.

Haha, watched some of the practice video, and it's basically "boobs, boobs, boobs, boobs" which some parts of me sort of enjoyed while the rest of my brain felt embarassed over the crowd that could enjoy that so shallowly. Didn't want to have make it seem as if I thought they were talentless dolls, however, I feel like it's legitimate to question why a group deserves our finite attention, when there are stuff that are better out there musically and performance wise. Not that I'm implying that anyone is forcing me to look at stuff, but popular stuff usually have good traits and it can be interesting to check stuff out.

I think we've gone over this a million times in this thread. Why bother with kpop in general, if you're actually looking for real artistic talent.
