Ugh so hard being a SONE right now...

So much build up and hype for their Korean comeback; then you are left at the end of the MV not knowing what to think T_T

As far as the album goes, plain and generic songs. V nice to listen to, but it won't go down in history any time soon. I think they just want to appeal to a wide of an audience as they can, so simple is the way to go.

At the end of the day I always realize that no matter what I think of what they are doing, the CEO's and producers gathering around that table at SM have a better idea on this than me, so w/e.

I like Baby Maybe, Promise, 유리아이, Romantic Street and Talk Talk/Boomerang (probably shouldn't count since it leaked ages ago) in no specific order. IGAB is still a mess and Express 999 has the same problem as IGAB, mixing of what should have been different songs. I like the parts that go with the first part though. The rest I haven't decided yet. Pretty much what I expected considering their latest stuff. Whoever sat down to listen to the album and picked the title track is an idiot.

Mmmmm I hate to be part of the bandwagon, and it hurts to admit as a huge SNSD fan, but I did not like I Got a Boy. I will go as far as to admit that when I read everyone's negative opinion I thought that everyone else were haters and that I would surely like it. The dress was completely confusing, though if I think of it that way it kinda makes sense, since the song itself was confusing as hell. All I really heard was that annoying morse code beep in the back and them singing (rapping?). The song didn't seem to have any sort of normal progression whatsoever, as in verses, choruses, bridges, etc. It all ended randomly. Hopefully the rest of the album is good though!

I kinda like it, I've never had trouble with rapidly switching beats. May have helped that I was listening to that DJ Shadow set before this. The post 2 minute part is definitely the better part for me though.
